Anyway, just to add some notes, I'm using A80 P441, running on a 1.73Ghz, 512 RAM, 60GB hdd, 64mb ATI x300 etc.. got it for 5k plus the warranty extension..during the christmas break though..
I played FIFA2006 smoothly using tis one..no problem at all, using the highest details setting..maybe the game itself was not 3d demanding after all..but i do notice about the heating stuff..it got reali hot after about few hours..rarely uses it battery though..prefer power supply! |

QUOTE(justin_nys @ Jan 20 2006, 02:35 PM) Yes, i've sent my M40 back to Tele Dynamics before (the service center in shah alam). Service is very good IMHO. just that it's very very far! Well you can send it back to the shop which you bought the laptop from but it'll take you ages to wait. Ya, I heard about warranty stuff being delayed again n again if sent to shop.. hmm okie, juz tat i'm not very familiar with shah alam..haha.. anyway thanks alot for the information n details justin! They will surely claim that the laptop will be sent within that week but you know lah...you can barely trust those "customer service" dudes...haha...some shops are more efficient ler..they will really send it the next day or within that week but most of the shops wont. My laptop RMA for 2 weeks. Sent it there my self. If you ask the shop to send it for you. expect around 1 month if you don't push them. anyway here is the map for Toshiba service centers. Nearest to KL is Shah Alam. http://www.teledynamics.com.my/aboutus/contactus.asp all the best, mervyn! |

QUOTE(project-o @ Jan 20 2006, 06:08 PM) But with the extra 2 years costing RM 600. Won't it be better to take the Tecra S2 which already has 3 years warranty for RM 4800 ? The main reason is behind the looks..i like the satellite better IMO, and if i'm not mistaken, the specs of mine is better? correct me if i'm wrong? |
