Anybody owns a Portege M900 (the one with ATI 4570)?
Care to give a review of the notebook?
I would also like to ask is Toshiba's tech support good? Is it easy to repair your laptop, if there's a problem?
And finally, how's the build quality of Toshiba laptops (in general)? Do you encounter a lot of problems?

Any users of the L510 series here? Especially the L510-S438 (with ati 4570)
I would like to ask what do you think of the notebook. Does it have a good build quality, good heat management, etc.

I've roamed around the internet looking for a review of the L510 series (a complete one), but there's none.
So, I would like to ask again (as I did in my previous post), how good is the build quality, heat management of the L510 series, since all of them should be using the same casing, cooling config, etc.? Especially the L510 with Ati4570 (I think the latest one is L510-S4314).
I'm really considering buying it in the next PC fair. However, I would like to know whether its good or not first.

QUOTE(lan_86 @ Nov 23 2009, 06:04 PM) why don't you go to pc shop and try them out..i also looking for L510 and tested it..built quality seems solid and right palm rest a bit warm, but still okay for me(compared to compaq)..thats all i can say... still waiting for the upcoming promotion, then i grab one I've seen it, i've tested it. However, it takes owning the laptop and running CPU & graphics intensive programs to really see the capability of the cooling & its overall performance..

After pondering for months on whether to get the L510-S4314, I decided to buy something else.. I bought myself a M500-S430 during PC fair! It costs more, but I think its well worth it. Good quality build, good heat management, good speakers. Quite happy about most aspects of the laptop, except the fact that the glossy finish is a fingerprint magnet.. So I suppose that makes me a member in the Toshiba club now.. rite?

QUOTE(manutd6389 @ Dec 7 2009, 11:00 PM) i got mine for rm3200 with extra 2gb ram plus a bag and without the gifts then went to another toshiba, they offered RM3100 (KNS) with the same bundle Haha.. that's why it is sometimes heartbreaking to hear that somewhere you can get a better deal for what you've bought.. But anyway, I don't really mind the slight differences in the price. As long as I got my laptop.

Well, the extra years warranty is clearly stated in the brochure for Toshiba by teledynamics, so I quite sure that this matter will be sorted between toshiba & teledynamics, instead of by us and the reseller.

QUOTE(reevephon @ Dec 9 2009, 08:34 AM) Yeah, Toshiba would update the warranty after the FAIR has ended. Does that mean the Fair in KL, or all fairs?
