I also juz got a M300-D4313...
I have question here....my set doesnt come with any cd for windows is this normal??
I read the manual it says there is a pre-installed recovery partition in my HDD and i can create my own recovery cd
Does recovery have the same effect as formatting?? I am a first time user of laptop n vista.... tongue.gif

anybody using the same lappy as i? m300-d4313? proc is p7450. When i first bought my lappy, in idle the temp will be around 40++celsius. but now it hangs around 50++ and shoot up easily to 70celsius.i wonder why?2 weeks of lappy. could it be spyware and virus?

i got the same model as u too...yea my temperature is about the same as yours 60+...
It is very hot especially at the touchpad...but if i have air cond then it will remain at 50+...

Do you think using a cooler pad can help with this situation??

Cooler pad as good as having air cond??

haha, finally i found somebody has the same model as i. biggrin.gif
erm?are u a gamer may i asked?what temperature does your laptop hang around when u game?
what software u used to check your laptop's temperature?
I doubt cooler pad will help much. i searched through the internet, if u really wan to cool down ur lappy, set a table fan to blow directly at the vent of your laptop.it works but easily to trap dust in it so u have to clean often but cooler pad only bring down a few degree celsius even you have zalman.
i thought p7450 is much more better than the tseries proc in terms of saving energy and producing less heat?
may i ask do you think this is normal?
*
I m not a gamer haha juz a normal uni student doing some assignments n web surfing...but juz normal word processing and web surfing the temp got so high. I use pc wizard to check the temp.
I asked my frens using other brands eg. Dell, Benq...they say it is normal. I tot of getting myself a Zalman but since u say it doesnt help much then i think i'll juz stick to having my air cond though the electric bill will go haywire haha...
Maybe i'll ask my fren using a portege M800 too, see wat temp he got...

yes 3 fan. i saw someone selling in garage sales for Rm35.

can refer back to last few pages, a member using zalman claiming that it only decrease about 8 degrees. Which isn't worth buying imho

i did tried to disconnect the cooler and it went back up to 42. I think the effect is mostly because the laptop isn't in touch with anything while i put it on the cooler thus better temp even when the cooler is not running.

oh...u mean it is like lifted up to provide better air flow...hmm...since u say like tat maybe i'll go check out some cooler when i m free biggrin.gif
Thx a lot 4 da info rclxms.gif
