I just gotten that laptop last week. I purchased it during the CNY promotion where the laptop is only priced at RM4699. Upgraded the ram to 4gb because the laptop only comes with 2 gb.

It is a great laptop and the keyboard layout is pretty normal to me. If you're still not sure of the layout, the laptop design and layout is the same to every other Toshiba M300. You can check the layout on the internet. Different model just vary in different specs.

I must say that the internet have very little information on this model. I've done my research in every possible website you can think of. And I've been to many shops but none sell this model. In the end, I have no regreat purchasing this laptop. If you have any questions regarding this laptop, you may pm me.

I'm aiming the M300 model with the latest processor...I forgot wat it calls...but newer than core 2 duo....with 4GB ram and 320 GB hard disk...do u guys think is reasonable enough with paying RM 3499?

I am using a USB to cool up my lappie, quite useful. It gets hot especially at the left lower portion. The touchpad sometimes get hot too.

so do I,mine even got hotter when playing games like left 4 dead. It shoot up to 65-70 celsius. U can hear the fan running very fast

lol, I somemore thought my lappy got something wrong. My wan if left for dl not so hot. It eventually cool down when idle, can drop to 48 celsius. What type of software u are using to measure temp?

I have a friend, which is a Toshiba laptop user, he told me his laptop get overheated easily even he uses the cooler??

Can anyone clarify this? Now looking forward to Toshiba and Asus.
