back from lowyat, met eddy ....bought my m200 lappy....almost bought the lenovo Y410....hahaha....save 1200...wat to do ler...

bro eddy,if i downgrading for my friend,is it anyway for me to make all those hardwares useable?
i mean,since it has no drivers for XP,so it is not possible to make the audio working right?

May I know what does ddr mean? and other than sodimm, what other rams are aviable? why do you suggest this one then?

Actually... will it be useful to bring the laptop there to test on the ram? because last time when i upgraded the ram, i tested the laptop on the spot oso... the thing is, problem only occur after some time, not immediately...

Added on August 31, 2007, 12:08 pmddr is the new generation ram ... but now all mostly using ddr2 ... saves more power and quicker response ... so dimm means its laptop ram ...

its always better to test on the spot ... once u got it fixed ... try to switch on and play something on media player ...

see its smooth or not ...

eddy, i check my usable harddisk is only about 68Gb/80gb, from disk management i see about 4.xx gb is partiton primary thingy , how do i utilise this storage space ?

burn ur recovery first ... then disable windows vista system recovery system ... it takes a lot of space from ur hard drive cos it saves daily setup and config and takes space from ur hard disk ...

ic...........haven't burnt yet, back to home town....

haha, will do tht next week n try to restore as much space as possible.....

btw, just notice my keyboard SPACE key is making sound everytime i type it, will bring to show u next time (most likely next week , coz a coleague n a housemate kena POISONed by me....haha), c wat can be fixed...

so far so good... the window side bar shows 54% of RAM in use now..

i poison them this budget can get other brand but pls c for ur self the quality n built. i used my housemate DELL whole nite b4 go lowyat, the palm rest was hot , harddisk make aeroplane sound , last time i compare my m100 n the dell online speed , my M100 load page faster.

speaker so far, only toshiba n HP satisfy me...
new lenovo n acer models coming close but still not tht good yet...

if i were u i would disable the sidebar as well ... hahaha ...

i disable jor geh, just open to view the RAM n CPU usage at different level of lappy usage , c which program eat up my RAM n CPU. hometown here 1515 only, need to back to KL/melaka to download more updates n upgrades.

confirm the SPACE key got problem, it looks abit lifted compared to other keys, making lots of noises. show u next time. probably next week. contact u whether to visit u in MV or LY later , see how they wanto go.

yup ... the m200 no more harman/kardon ... only the a200-e530 and above got harman/kardon ... but the m200 still sound better than compaq or hp altec lansing ... hehehe...
