I've roamed around the internet looking for a review of the L510 series (a complete one), but there's none.

So, I would like to ask again (as I did in my previous post), how good is the build quality, heat management of the L510 series, since all of them should be using the same casing, cooling config, etc.? Especially the L510 with Ati4570 (I think the latest one is L510-S4314).

I'm really considering buying it in the next PC fair. However, I would like to know whether its good or not first.

why don't you go to pc shop and try them out..i also looking for L510 and tested it..built quality seems solid and right palm rest a bit warm,but still okay for me(compared to compaq)..thats all i can say...

I've seen it, i've tested it. However, it takes owning the laptop and running CPU & graphics intensive programs to really see the capability of the cooling & its overall performance..

I agree to this. I am also considering getting the L510. Since it's a newer model I'm also hard pressed to get some reviews.
Can anyone here share about this lappie and whether it is worth it to get? I don't wanna bash my head against the wall if it screws up in the future.

Hey i read from the papers, PC FARI Promotion, L510-S4314 (with ATI 4570) selling at RM2,799, comes with free 2nd year local limited warranty..
Any1 noe wat's the condtion for limited warranty? Coz im still pretty much torn btw HP pavilion DV3-2111TX which sells at rm2,849 with 3 yr waranty..

I just bought this laptop around february this year..
anything i can do to solve it or just send to service center?

hi everyone, just got a l510-s4314, which to choose between 32bit and 64bit windows 7? which one better?

if u have 4gb or more ram & need to run 64-bit softwares like cad, 3d modeling to get maximum performance, then go for 64-bit win7. but no worry, u can still run 32-bit softwares & drivers under 64-bit environment, which cannot be done in the other way round.

for myself, i'm using 64-bit win7, even though i have only 2gb ram.

the Ati Radeon HD4570 that comes with L510-S4314, is DDR3 or DDR2?? (please note, i'm asking the video ram, not the pc ram)

this morning i called Toshiba notebook shop and they confidently said only give 1 year warranty(no news from distributor..etc..)

the model i saw in the pcfair brochure come with 2 years warranty..then i asked teledynamic,they told me to ask dealer/shop where i want to get it..

suddenly i got call from the shop,they told me this model come with 2 years warranty..i seriously doubt they are trying to con me just to finish off their stock..price exactly the same as in the brochure..

what do you guys think?btw,teledynamics seems not really friendly!

for your info,theres no pcfair event at my area..the main question "is pcfair promo applied in all over malaysia" still lingering in my life..lol

not buy yet,i just need some confirmation if Toshiba notebook dealer(around malaysia) will offering the same price as pcfair..that's it..if yes i got one,if no i cry until die..lol
