Proc: Intel Quad Core Q9550
Mobo: Asus P5Q Pro
Ram: Corsair Dominator GT 1000 Mhz 2x2GB
PSU: Silverstone Modular
HDD: Western Digital 1TB

Cooling Stuff:
1. Thermalright 120 Extreme
2. Thermalright HR-05
3. Cooler Master TX3

Objective: Get perfect solution via mounting TX3 on northbridge, fit thermalright HR-05 to southbridge and cooling down proc and mobo temperature.

Obstacle:
1. The original heatsink blocking from mosfet to northbridge.
2. Mounting is not available, doing some mod is the way.
3. Refer below picture.

Fit Noiseblocker Fan on Thermalright 120 is nice, but the things is, when mounted to motherboard, it position upwards and it cant be seen when installed inside the case.

um if i may ask~
is cutting the stock copper cooling heatsink advisable? (sorry if the name for the item is wrong)
were there any holes or is there any additional holes required for the Thermalright HR-05 and Cooler Master TX3 brackets?

cutting the stock cooler really depends on your board condition.

no need drill additional holes. Just find those screws and bracket. FYI, i got so many coolers lying around inside my cabinet. Gallery purposes.
