I've been thinking what's the purpose of having this 3rd kit when the colours are almost the same as the home kit. Local Clubs Perak Football Team, Tell All About Perak Football...

QUOTE(razlan @ Dec 30 2007, 03:28 PM) The fans are calling carlos caceres = carlos kakikeras. he had 3 shots at goal with only the keeper left but couldnt find the netting... khalid was suspended for 1 match for receiving yellow cards. the 'chileans' are not that pedas at all... Perhaps the Chilean imports are still not used to the Malaysian style of play? Normally, it will take time for new additions to gel into the squad. Unless we can get someone who are big and imposing enough to hold the ball (like mandjou, seator) upfront, it's never easy to grind out results instantenously. I'd say give them 3-5 more matches to see whether they are worth the salt.Anyway, it's disappointing to see our Seladangs experiencing a back-to-back loss. Hope the squad can get up to steam ASAP lar. A top three finishing will be great. Skor Yob Skor! Added on January 2, 2008, 10:00 amWow, great comeback from the Seladangs after two consecutive defeats. I think they responded well by whipping Sarawak 5-0 at home. Kudos to Khalid, the hattrick hero for a scintillating display! Not forgetting our skipper, Ahmad Shahrul and Caceres has finally opened his account for Perak! It's indeed disappointing watching our defenders making a fool of themselves yesterday night. Totally unacceptable! Sigh, the 2-5 score is really a bitter pill to swallow. What more when we lost at home ground. Apparently, our good record against Kedah while playing at home has been broken yesterday night.
Twice we took the lead in the game but had to be let down by a poor and absolutely miserable defence. We need to address our defence pronto lar! It will be useless if we score as much as we let in. |

One fact that can't be changed is that the supporters of our local league are used to seeing imported players transforming into a goal scoring machine overnight. See the likes of Chepita, Mandjou, Marlon James. All of them have no problem banging in the goals immediately.
I think this has largely got to do with their physical advantage. Look at the example of the three players that I named above and see what they have in common. In the case of our team, the build of the Chilean players are by and large the same with our local players. Sensibly speaking, of course it's kinda hard for them to perform like what the Africans players always do in our league. Unless there are exceptions like say they are the legendary Marcelo 'El Matador' Salas or Ivan Zamorano. Then it will be a whole different ball game altogether. Skor Yob Skor! MSL Final Score:
Sarawak v Perak 1-1 Aihhhh...more bad news for our current league form. Title chase is disappearing faster than you can say 'yob'. Must bounce back during our AFC Cup game against Kitchee FC. No two ways bout it. This post has been edited by plokoon: Mar 31 2008, 12:16 AM |

It's 'turbulent' time for both Perak FA and their supporters. I hope us Perakians remain loyal to our club through ups and downs, thick and thin.
Since the ban on foreign players will be enforced in season 2009, Caceres and Munoz have gone back to Chile. Only Berrios is still staying for the remainder of season 2008. Expect to see many 1st squad players leaving soon due to unsettled wages with Razali Umar being the 1st of many. Skor Yob Skor! This post has been edited by plokoon: Sep 17 2008, 04:24 PM |

2-0 to the Seladangs! Went for the match at Stadium Perak with no expectation, just hoping the kids won't lose their nerves easily. Eventually, I got more than I bargained for!
Although it was a jittery first half for Perak, they managed to show a little bit more composure in their gameplay in the second half. That directly resulted in two cleverly executed goals. The second one being a set-piece goal. A well placed header from the #11 youngster, Sharizal. Credit to our new El Capitano, S. Subramaniam for the well taken free kick. Not too sure who scored the first, can't see clearly from the stand, All in all, an encouraging performance from a vastly inexperienced team! Here's hoping for more of the same in the upcoming matches. It's gonna be a long and hard battle for these youngsters! Come on all Perakians, now is the TIME to rally behind our lads! QUOTE(liverpool red @ Jan 4 2009, 09:04 AM) thanks for the wonderful report from bro plokoon and sis subpar, were the team wearing a new kit? Yeah, they were wearing the new home kit! Can't find any pictures yet though and I didn't bring a camera along yesterday night. I'd say it was a rather simple jersey. Round neck with stripes of black and white running across the left shoulder to the left sleeve. Printing is the same Joma template like the previous seasons.i will be catching the team in action when they come to seremban, problem is all the times i have watched them play here, never once they won and the fact that NS team looks good, i won't put my hopes too high Added on January 5, 2009, 12:21 pmHere's the picture of our new home kit! ![]() This post has been edited by plokoon: Jan 5 2009, 12:21 PM |

Yeah, it's a very tough game, considering the level of experience of the players they have. A draw by us in Shah Alam would be equivalent to a win but the kids didn't manage to hold on to it. It's alright, all is not lost as there's still a long way to go. PDRM @ home next!

Crowd turn out for the match against PDRM yesterday evening was much more encouraging compared to the first home game. I guess the fighting spirit shown by our young Seladangs against Selangor is the pulling factor. Either that or the Perakians are expecting a goal fest
The solitary goal was courtesy of a cool finish by our main striker Razali Umar Kandasamy. Apart from that, the game is marred by some bad tackles from the physical PDRM players. This is made worse by the inability of the referee to punish the PDRM players for some of the bad tackles. All in all, the spirit and the vigour to win is there, it is just that the communication between our players still have a lot of room for improvement. And most importantly, the players must keep their cool in one-on-one situation with the goalie. Best of luck against NS Naza! A draw would be great in this away match on Tuesday. Skor Yob Skor! Added on January 11, 2009, 1:29 am QUOTE(liverpool red @ Jan 6 2009, 07:20 PM) the kit will be available for sale from end of the month onwards but i can't get pass the design on the shoulder.. what were perak FA and joma thinking?! The home, away and third kits are already on sale in Ipoh as of last Monday. i will pass for this season.. hope the team preforms better than the kit....
