People who live here. Do you find that it's extremely, crazy noisy?
Gardeners use power tools anytime they can. He will stand and blow 1 square meter of grass for 30 min, then they will cut the grass, then blow again and it goes on and on and on. Now they are also doing some "improvements" at the entrance... If you work from home it's almost impossible, constant, constant noise. My friend lives near KLCC in front of MRT construction site, and even there the daily noise is much less. |

Yeah, supposed to... I did once and all they do they go away and come back few hours later. I even showed a picture where one gardener blows 4 leaves for 15 minutes.
I was just wondering whether I am alone with this problem? |

If you are considering buying or renting here, PLEASE DO NOT.
We live here for 3 months and it's extremely noisy. One day they will cut the grass, other day cut the bushes, next day cut trees, then use the blower all day long. And they use the LOUDEST tools. It's not just a little noisy, it's hell of a noise. Then they will install speedbump at 3 in the morning, then your neighbors will start doing renovation one by one. It just never stops here. My friends lives in front of MRT construction site and even there it's a lot quiter. Now, mosquitos. There are millions. They do fuming twice per month only and I believe what they use for it is very light smoke, doesn't kill any mosquito at all. We also have huge coachroaches running everywhere, no rats though (yet). Anyway, it is only for you if you want to live in overpriced, extremely noisy, coachroach and mosquito infested place with super annoying 2-step security and absolutely no facility. In fact, my friend journalist is planning to write a big article about this place. No wonder this place is only 1/2 sold, hope they don't sell any more units |

QUOTE(wangdu @ Dec 18 2017, 01:37 PM) Wah.. renovation dont have time start/stop ka? People doing maintenence also komplen.. just sit inside the house.. why need to bother them.. Speedbump they did at 3 in the morning, so no stop time. Maintenance? Yes, before I also lived in gated community, maintenance was once per month, not loud tools. I've never lived in such a noisy environment even when I stayed at my friend's place in front of MRT construction site. And we chose SH because we thought it will be quite here because I work from home, need to be peaceful.Instead of wasting all the money for stupid "maintenance" they should open clubhouse for all residents. But clubhouse is mediocre, the gym is non existent. Maybe people living at Verdi are better off, but landed property is no good at all. |

Don't get me wrong, this place is amazing when there is no noise and once you put mosquito nets. It's never hot, no need to use aircon. Fresh air all the time with windows open. Once in a while it feels like paradise, until they start making LOUD noise for hours.
Renting is not bad I guess, but buying... Imagine you spend so much and get 0 facilities. With a few adjustmnets it can become the best place in Cyber. Stop the noise, open the club to residents and open 2 other entrances, one near Verdi and one from Cristal. Don't tell me have no budget for it, because already wasted so much money on stupid new flowers and concrete sidewalks where no one walks. My friend was seriously considering buying a place at Schubert, but then she was turned off by 2 step security and lack of facilities for that price, she bought a plave in Putrajaya |

QUOTE(noblebaby @ Dec 18 2017, 05:24 PM) Lol, when did complaining make anything better? I did complain 2 times, every time it's a standard answer, "we will investigate the opportunity to make it better and will monitor the situation" which in real world means "f off". And I mean I could be picky about noise (though every resident I spoke to isn't too happy), but mosquito and cockroaches are serious problems that must be addressed by management and I know for a fact that I'm not the only one complaining. And the management is "investigating and monitoring". All they care about is to sell more units, they don't care about suckers who already bought/rented, why bother? At lease when I complain here it may make other people who are considering to buy rethink their purchase. You don't see these things until you move in and live here for few months. QUOTE(BEANCOUNTER @ Dec 19 2017, 02:34 PM) Correct, but as far as I know, JBM manages only the inside. All the stupid flower work and speedbump and so on is done by developer who thinks that is they planted these flowers, suddenly people will start buying. If only they asked people who refused to buy WHY they refuse to buy... Most guests who came to visit us are potential buyers and they mention right away why they wouldn't buy there, no rocket science. |

For anyone thinking to buy/rent here, make sure you are as far away from road as possible, and far away from Verdi. Otherwise it will be very noisy because of maintenance.
Overall, this place has the worst management out of all places we lived so far. Everything is done here to pretend they are working on the property and in fact they do as little as possible. The place is literally falling apart, developer chose the cheapest materials when building it. Bursting pipes, crack in the walls, cracking pavements and the damn annoying double security...
