POPO Hisoundaudio IEM is now performing way better than before after several hours of burn in. SQ is good both on Rocco-P and on my Samsung SII using Poweramp app. The bass quality is the first one you notice as if you are using a sub, the clarity of the vocals is superb.

Headphone like Dr. Dre and Fanny Wang have their own amp inside them right? Wish my Samsung S2 can use external amp so it can pump up the details without the need to cranking up the volume. If I cut the car dock and use it to bypass the amp so just the DAC directly to say like Fiio can do it or not?

what power amp would that be? you can get and try, if it doesn't work out, you can always get a pre-amp later.

no they do not have an amp inside. unless you are referring to the noise canceling models.

I meant Dr.Dre Studio and Fanny Wang 2000 series.

My Samsung Vehicle Dock have a speaker output on the back which goes through the mini usb beneath the phone. When I'm compared the sound from the 3.5mm headphone jack with the 3.5mm speaker line out using POPO IEM, the latter have low volume seems like it is not been amplified. Does this mean the signal comes directly from Poweramp Player -> DAC -> Speaker Line Out -> Headphones? And will Fiio will do any improvement if i'm using it in this configuration--- Poweramp Player -> DAC -> Speaker Line Out -> Fiio -> Headphones?
