Need recommandation on tube amp or amplifier for.shure se535....

Budget around rm500 +-

Tube?!

My SE535 is so sensitive even the E7 hums without any source.

I doubt it'll be alright with cheaper tubes...

Cri Cri+ sounds clean to me, martini a bit warm. Depends on what type of music you want, and the form factor. But most of the time, if use on PC only, go cricri+. Save you trouble replace battery. On PC, martini + doesn't hv DAC, unless you're talking about Martini-U.

if u don't mind using a line out for that walkman, then it's good to use an external amp as that player doesn't have a powerful amp.

any good suggestion? lol
i'm a total noob at this.

i'd like to know if there'll be a huge different when i use lod?
*
Whether it is a huge difference or not depends on:

1. Your hearing/perception: Some says, nah, nothing different. Some said, moar power! Some said, clearer and wider soundstage.

2. Whether your headphones really benefit on extra juice from the amp. Some headphones are designed so that when it's loud enough, there's nothing much an amp could alter its sound.

Well, technically, the walkman or any conventional consumer portable players are designed in a way to power portable headphones/earphones only. The portable players (like the Sony walkmans) deliver low power.

Hence, if you're by-passing the internal amp (using LOD) and straight using the external amp, chances are you are getting one of the following: (Clearer signal, more powerful signal, less distortion), or the benefit of (more punches, tight bass / more details / wider soundstage), etc since the external amp does not rely on the internal battery (power source) of the portable player.

Well, i'm not saying you should or must. It's just an option for you to play with various gears. lol. LOD+cable (Fiio's the least expensive one, i think it's called Fiio L5 http://www.amazon.com/FiiO-L5-Line-Cable-W...n/dp/B003UCI2CI

Btw, if you're planning to go all out on budget setup, then no point spending too much on LOD. What amp are you planning to use liao?

Planning to use FiiO E6, but still considering.. hahaha...
Was worried i get good amp and all also my walkman cannot support them well.

Can't understand what you mean by "walkman cannot support". Can explain?

so if i lo my walkman to Fiio E07k ANDES DAC/Amplifier, the dac function provided in the amp wont works lo?
*
if you're using 3.5" interconnect to connect between the walkman and dac/amp, surely it won't use the DAC function.

Source : Sandisk Clip+ (320kbps mp3 mostly)

Cans : ATH ProMk2 (38ohm impedance)

Requirement : -

Budget : around RM200

Type : Portable

The Sansa Clip+ is on its way, so I'm not really sure if I'd be needing an amp but just want to ask for a recommendation if a portable amp might be beneficial even if slightly =)

38 Ohm, 98dB (less than 100dB, owai). Clip+ normally can drive, but whether you like it or not it's another question. Portable amp around RM200? The one in my mind is Govibe Minibox Amplifier. May put some juice. Will try later in store if possible.

Source : My lappy (foobar 2k, kuwomusic) n my HTC
Cans : Beyerdynamic COP
budget : less than rm800

Hi I looking for portable dac/amp ~ for my custom one pro
looking for better stage sound ~ and details
currently thinking bout fiio E07k + E09k  or fiio X3 or fiio E18

I would prefer to use my HTC as source and fiio e07k as DAC since can combine with E09k for my lappy so i thk worth the money but worry bout the compatibility with my HTC ~

so fiio E18 come into consideration as well while X3 as well since cn use as DAC
but I use lappy to appreciate detail music more ( desktop DAC more important??)

any recommend ? or other brand of DAC which hv better performance thn fiio e07k + e09k but similar price
*
if u can get Centrance Dacport, it'll pwn most of the dac/amp combo. The limitation is that it's only for laptop (via USB).
If u really want to get your HTC as source, why not Fiio E18, or the upcoming AK10 for that matter? Question is, gotta hear it before decide whether the sound is what u like. Fiio X3 is not a bad choice either for its versatility.

But still, I prefer to use Dacport for PC music, and one small portable amp for HTC. Justification? HTC music is on-the-go, where I will less likely to hear difference in details as I won't be paying serious attention to music. I just need an amp to power the COP loud enough. Get something light and slim will do.
