i got dacport, noneed the bladelius... rm2k leh, lol
tested the bladelius on speaker system, sounds good.

Unable to PK with dacport as dacport is headphone jack out, the bladelius is rca out, so different cable will be used.
You try go PK with HDP vs Bladelius then tell me how good it is, hehe...

You come KL... We go test. Haha

Imagine, if you upgrade to Bladelius, with standalone amp, you not only can power your headphone nicely, you can power speakers too.

LOL, upgrade time... or i sell you my Dacport, then i go upgrade to Bladelius.
With nuforce icon hdp or centrance dacport, you noneed additional amp ma... hehe

Other than these few, anymore nice DAC recommend? aparts from Lavry DA11

Furutech Gt40?? just felt the headphone amp not enough gain for my liking, other area not sure...
But it is cheap all in 1 solution set, got DAC... Headphone Amp, RCA Out & has Phono Stage.

I using Maverick A1 Amp, hehe... Dacport baby to work as preamp. LOL
If want, i can sell and upgrade, but Dacport is so nice i can unplug from my home rig and use directly with laptop (usb powered) connect headphone on the move.

Nope, mostly with Ad1000prm, sometimes Dt880.

My mind told me that too, but i still use my dacport for the job.
As for the volume part, i put full volume on dacport.
Somemore i just purchased a new mini to rca cable, if i upgrade to bladelius now.

My dacport as a dac preamp is more expensive than my maverick A1 amp, and my usb cable + mini rca cable is more expensive than my dacport.

i spent more money on cable.

Now using the Furutech Gt2 usb cable, Windcent also using this.

stupid me now testing the usb cable plug to external harddisk to test, blame Windcent, he insist me to test see if got differences. No difference ler.

My mistake, it's no difference if use for External Harddisk.

I don't have any external cd / dvd-rom to test.

The latest mini rca cable is good, much bigger soundstage, better resolution than the entry WireWorld iWorld cable.

Maverick D1 is dac amp while A1 is just amp. The D1 have much functions to play with, thus gaining higher popularity.
I am just using the Maverick A1 amp, it is suitable & good for my current need.
Worth money or not are highly depending on your expectation and the gear that you pairing with. It's definitely Value for Money, at their price point. Hehe
I gotta agree with that your audio chain is always only as good as its weakest link.

Me no experience on tubes too, perhaps you try look at ebay for your matching tubes.
Find high and low for the one that have the appearance that shout: "Come on baby, i'm Hot~!"
That tube should gives you Warmer sound singnature.

I'm sure that you've burned A Lot.
Mind sharing how you burn yours?

Yupz, using gt2 too, mine is 1.8m
With 0.6m either you rearrange your placement or buy a longer one... then the 0.6m just keep it spare for portable use.
