nice DAC..... but, just for PC only........

QUOTE(E1 - AKG @ Feb 12 2012, 09:43 AM)
The fact remains that your source is digital and don't think there is a portable amp (with battery) with tube.

portable or not portable are not important for me, because i wont bring out my AD900 for navigation sweat.gif

QUOTE(hongrui @ Feb 12 2012, 10:43 AM)

Fiio e10 has NO hissing at all, even at extremely loud volume...

Fiio E10 is realy a beast in my opinion.. I guess nth is better than it at the price u pay..

Cmoy + new opamp + 9v battery + charger for 9v could easily cost u RM400++

TTD will go better with a computer or with a better DAC as source.

While you can use the x19hd as source to the TTD, I wouldn't recommend it as you will be double amping and you will only be using the amp of the TTD, not the DAC section.

sorry, im not very understand what u mean, the TTD can function as independent preamp right ?

actually, i had try to connect x19hd to my JVC miniHiFI (1/8" to RCA), the sound come out very low, had to switch the volume over 3 o'clock just can get commonly sound lever only.
that's why i ask u TTD and x19hd can match well or not.

Am using an IE8, what would be a recommended amp? Something with dac support would be a bonus. Have been checking out the headstage arrow 4g and practical devices xm6. Any other options?

At home will be a PC and currently an iPhone for portable use. Am still in the midst of building up my rigs. Starting off with a good portable amp but currently using IEM's but plan to get headphones later. Budget is around 1k+. Need portability.

Yes TTD has the preamp function but I do not recommend doing it as you are double amping.
When you connect the x19hd to your JVC, what volume is your x19hd at?

most of them will make ur ears sweat after long hours of usage, if the pad is leather or very tightly knitted cloth like from shure's that is
