Recently ive joined US shopping spree and paid a good amount of cash for my item + us ground shipping + extra us to malaysia post cost because i need that item urgently (joining bulk is very long waiting time, i opted to personal spree or whatsername.) I expect my item will ship straight to my home (extra money paid) with TRACKABLE TRACKING CODE.

but :
1. Seller ( spree provider) dont provide me tracking code ( US to Malaysia)
2. Item go to seller home first. ( US to Malaysia)


What i dont understand are :

1. Why no tracking code? How ill know where is my item? How i want to track my item? I wanna know where my item is and do the seller really buy my item?
2. Why not straight to my home? Do my item shipped with other buyer item? Why? Extra money for personal spree

. ( but i still buying from him though )

I myself provides this kinda service but I don't call it 'spree'. I would rather label my service as ur 'personal shopper' as I will buy immediately upon payment confirmation to save time

I normally WILL NOT charge my buyer extra if they want the items to be delivered straight to their home, instead I charge them lower (I don't have to do local postage and lesser hassle). I would normally deal with the seller, to have it delivered to the REAL buyer as I'm only paying on behalf of the buyer (though some sellers have the policy of not delivering it to an address which are different from your account i.e paypal or credit card). If the seller refuse to deliver it straight to the buyer, I would then charge for the local postage.

As for you TRACKING CODE, so far I have not encountered any issues as if my BUYER opt to have the tracking code, they will get it from the SELLER. Like you said, pay extra for the tracking code and faster international delivery (not to me, to the seller).
I don't know bout you, but the only reason I can think of getting the items delivered to seller first is because he wanna make sure the client don't cheat him even when they receive the items. As for me, it's all about trust and I gained a few loyal customers from this trust

TS, where did u buy from the seller? Through eBay or other sites?

unfortunately, my item dont ship to Malaysia. Must use US address

So ur seller is provided a service similar to vpost?

Dont know bout that. And if yes, Is it normal no tracking code ? .

Me as buyer wanna feel a bit "secure" knowing where the items and status of the item.

Well if you were told that you'll be given a tracking code, i guess its the responsibility of the seller to give u one 'trackable' code. yea i feel u mang..

I guess your US spree agent is doing like this

paid to seller > seller sent to their US warehouse > then send to Malaysia

What I know, some will do like this:

Buyer pay the amount including the postage (US to Malaysia and local postage)
Agent will buy it and keep until certain time... normally end of the month. Most item sent to US address will be free shipping.
Agent will keep all item from a few buyer and by end of the month, agent will sent all item in one package to his/her house at Malaysia. This to cut shipping cost again.
Someone at Malaysia will sent to all buyer at Malaysia using local postage.

I have use this method to buy from Japan and US... all item receive.

this is what they cal "bulk" right? what about buyer who paid more to get the item urgently?

That is bulk a.k.a Spree ak.a Batch.


TS paid for Personal order .. Agent do not have to wait for all the items to arrive at warehouse then only ship. Agent can just ship TS's items immediately after they received TS items at warehouse. This is call Personal order.


Well TS, maybe your agent is giving personal order in another way. As in send to her 1st then only post to u Without needing to wait for the batch to close or other buyers items to arrive at their warehouse.

i know how this all went now.

buyer ---> seller ---> warehouse ---> seller ---> buyer.



but some spreer still sucks though. not giving you the feel of security. like no confirmation on order, late order ( some item OOS ) and so on.

actually if you doesn't trust the person who doing this called spree service...
you can do it by YOUR OWN....no need a middle man
heck...there's also a topic discussion about fowarding service here.....
how bad or how good there are.....
but BEWARE that by doing it alone means that first you have to learn how fowarding company work


if it's me this spree service only worth your money if you willing to wait and sharing your postage cost all together....
but if it's just for you...better do it by your own....
as most of SPREE service here just merely act as a HELPER with "minimum" charges...
