I assume you are referring to internal walls? I only used ICI before (and now) so I can only comment on ICI. I used ICI Pearl Glo - rose white and was very happy with Pearl Glo. It was quite easy to clean and last for years. Now I am using Pentalite Easy Clean as Pentalite is about 20-30% cheaper than Pearl Glo. Of course Pentalite is not as reflective as Pearl Glo but now I have very bright LED so it is not an issue.

These are some of the prices that I got earlier (abt 5 mths ago) You may need to check with ths shops for their latest pricing.
For internal walls: Nippon Odour-less - RM 120/ 5 lit Nippon Spot-less - RM 100/ 5 lit Nippon Satin Glo - RM 90/ 5 lit Nippon 3 in 1 - RM 110/ 5 lit Nippon Vinilex Fresh RM 88/ 5 lit Jotun Stax Matt - RM 80/ 5 lit Jotun Majestic - RM 95/ 5 lit Jotun Majestic Optima - RM 110/ 5 lit Jotun Pearl Silk - RM 95/ 5 lit Jotun Majestic Matt - RM 95/ 5 lit For Doors, timber frames, grilles, etc Jotun Gardex Gloss & Matt - RM 110/ 5 lit I do not use ICI paint as they are very much overprice. Quality is also not on par with others. About 10 years ago, maybe they are one of the better paint. Unfortunately, it is not so since these few years... I used ICI paint 10 years ago but have since revert to using Nippon & Jotun. My 2 sen... |

Personally, I'm more towards Nippon for interior.
If you have a budget, go for Nippon Air Care for indoor. Price around RM120/5L or RM36/1L. It's the only paint in the market that can absorb formaldehyde (don't know marketing gimmick or not, but I kinda believe it For exterior, both ICI & Nippon offer almost same benefit. It's more on personal preference. Again, if budget permit go for the one can reflect solar heat. So, you can reduce heat penetration through walls but still your roof is the main source for heat. |

So ICI paint quality is not justified by it's price?
Btw bought Nippon weather bond 20litre n satin glo. |

This is from my personal experience.
I would avoid using those satin glo, pearl glo, etc. Those that gives a gloss finish to walls. Using this type of paint will expose all the unevenness and defects in the wall. So, unless your wall is very evenly finished and no patching up, etc the it would look nice. Alternatively be prepare to skim coat the whole wall before painting with these gloss finish paints. Even if you skim coat the wall, the finishing must be even, else it is back to square one... |
