Hi fellas. Im new here. Before this I only fish for fun, maybe once in a blue moon...but recently since i just 'inherited' a better rod from someone, thought of investing and putting more time into this hobby.

Anyway, recently i got this Shimano Lurematic rod. Looks quite new. I think it's a 6ft+. Was wondering how this rod would perform? What type of fishing game is it suitable for?

And the main question, I don't have a reel. Need some recommendations from the sifu's here? Budget around 200 la. Thanks!

Awesome rod for beginner/ average level anglers. Get a shimano sienna, it be a pretty good match with ur rod n the price is reasonable if you able to find it around 120++

U can try to survey at ss2 fever angler, but I'm not sure bout the price.since u stay sumore around pj ，u can go over kepong tackle. They had almost everything there.

Hi there...im a new angler in klang valley area...moved from pg to pj...hard to find fishing spot here...either fish in ponds only.... perhaps taikors can enlighten me on places to fish..shore or offshore...found a new place to pancing...rawang ...road b4 natural exotic pond...they got half salt and freshwater pond....

Yea most probably if it doesnt rain. If it rains there i wont be fishing also.

Can tag along? Go see see only,but if u kena fish within the 1st 15mins then I fish also.
