I just borrow my uncle casting rod.. but the rod length are just 4.6ft.
So now i only need a reel and line then can go jurassic pond with you guys already!

I've actually done fishing before few times previously using my old man's rod and reel.not lending me his toys now I presume?haha.but no harm investing for a good rod and reel anyways eh?
my budget is rm500tops which includes rod,reel, and line.
usually do bottom fishing and no specific type of fish.just for the fun of it atmo.
I was thinking of paying the kepong tackle shop which I saw online cause they open till late at night and I still can go over after work .they sell lots of Shimano it seems.
currently looking at the shimano tekota reel.no idea how much tht is.any info?

heard that there's a new freshwater siakap pond rm20 per hour around tmn universiti bukit there. near tiger shark tackle.

feel like going there after work to test water liao...

later after work i will drop by tiger shark to ask for the detail directions. i've heard of that 2 ponds that you are referring to as well but the story i heard yesterday was different. the person was changing single hooks and prepping for the pond opening... heheh...

neeways did some search today on siakap pond fishing... the one at banting there for rm3 seems like a good visit this weekend...
