Well, you can easily fish at Port Klang waters by renting boats.
A 3-4 person boat costs about RM180 from 9am til 5pm. Petrol included but dont expect the boat to be super awesome.

Yes, 3-4 persons for around RM180.
I think the boat got no bumbung 1 but there's enough fuel from Port Klang to Pulau Ketam. |

I saw this paypond when i read Rod and Line magazine just now. Its a freshwater pond and its located quite near KL. Im not sure about the name of the pond but the fees are RM50/hour and there are many exotic species in the pond like mekong, red tail catfish etc. You need to buy the fishes if you want too and some species are not for sale.

I think its very expensive too but you're allowed to use lures there(with single hooks only) and the fishing pond is as large as a football field.

Yes, that's the pond i was mentioning.
They apparently want to make something like Bungsamran in Thailand but i have a feeling it wont really work. |

I have no idea where to rent fishing equipment but i'd suggest you to get a set of your own.
Trust me your collection will grow magically after a period of time. |

I dont think its the same pond. The one in Desa Kemuning is owned by a malay uncle and his pond can use fake lures.

Its the biggest tackle shop in Malaysia and its not too far away from KL.
The prices there are reasonable and the boss is willing to help. |
