So far, my seahawk high carbon daichi or smtg like that never failed me yet. If I'm not mistaken it's 50cent per hook. Lol.

QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Aug 4 2011, 11:14 PM) Well, you can easily fish at Port Klang waters by renting boats. last year i rented a boat around 100bucks for 2 person around lumut area. targeted fishes are jenahak, siakap, mangrove jack and groupers. and guess what, the stupid boatman brought us to fish sha chim(whitings) niamah. dulan 9 me. but catch was so-so. got a few table size jenahak, <1kg. A 3-4 person boat costs about RM180 from 9am til 5pm. Petrol included but dont expect the boat to be super awesome. |

QUOTE(bomberkenny @ Aug 5 2011, 05:49 PM) Hehe, just talking abt sea fishing already made me excited. Just went TCE Tackles and bought a light jigging rod, soon i'll get a good sea reel to fit it in. Im going fish valley with my bro tmr morning, can try the rod with my banax fresh water reel to fight mekong catfish. i've been to FV countless times and i haven't kena mekong catfish yet. haha so if you do, share with me how you got it eh? I think my virgin sea trip most prolly i join other pro anglers in a 3d2n trip. Though likewise i had no full sea equipments yet. The next thing im getting would be the multiplier and good quality braided line and some jigs. |

QUOTE(bomberkenny @ Aug 5 2011, 07:57 PM) Yeah, i just saw in tce tackles they selling banax kaigen, an electric reel at rm 1066. I wonder if its really a bargain there. no offense but i do really hate people that use electric reels. beats the purpose of fishing If got luck then i must aim plabuk la, got alot of fight 1 this monster |

QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Aug 7 2011, 10:55 PM) I saw this paypond when i read Rod and Line magazine just now. Its a freshwater pond and its located quite near KL. Im not sure about the name of the pond but the fees are RM50/hour and there are many exotic species in the pond like mekong, red tail catfish etc. You need to buy the fishes if you want too and some species are not for sale. if im not mistaken is the monster IT lake nearby putrajaya or cyberjaya. catch rate sucks though. read on another forum, a guy fished there 3 hours and only got like 2 or 3 fishes. no biggies some more |
