back from scouting this pond at PJ after some mamat told me theres plenty of haruans there. its just next to the Western Digital building at LDP. im not sure if u guys have seen it before or been there. had to do some 'bush raiding' to get inside

recommended to use surface/weedless lures cuz of the many weeds and floating plants by the banks. lots of birds around the area...kingfishers and bangau's, so i assume the ecosystem is not bad. plenty of ripples too. though i casted for like 30 mins only with some frogs (ended up nothing), it's definitely a spot to try next time.

so anyone else fished this weekend? today morning eat white fruit at kundang lake. saw a huge ass toman though. then beh tahan ended up at jurassic.

wild i not sure. pay one can go taman connought @ cheras, tropicana prawn fishing near aman suria, near manjalara @ kepong also got one. i used prawn alot before going into fishing.

been trying subang lake lately though. Mawi told me he caught a 30cm++ pb from the jogging lake last monday. parhaps gonna go there again later.

memang all the while can fish le except the jogging lake. the middle and the holiday lake usually can le.

the subang lake is behind the SJMC and holiday villa hotel & grand dorcett. got 3 lakes there.
becareful though when u cast because got weeds and fallen branches that might snag ur line n lures.
i had my fair share of lost lures there too.

so quiet. whose hitting where this weekend? im heading to prima again tml morning.

came back tangan kosong. not much activity. was there from 7 till 9+. some dude there taught me to use flies which he self tied his and on a carolina rig. will probably try it out next time.

btw...how to u actually stalk n attack toman fries? do u cast on them or around them? which type of lures work better? topwater/shallow runners? what if the fries suddenly dissapear..does it mean they go deeper? or gobbled up by mama.

mmm okay. was scouting some lombongs at btg berjuntai last sunday. one of which had the toman fry which i cast till out of reach.

we didn't have specific one to go. follow google maps only. the main one was the few lombongs around unisel. there are plenty more to explore but need 4x4 n possibly boat.

thx for the headups. there were dangers that day itself though, spotted a huge wild boar charging parallel to us 20 feet away. it was so close, luckily it wasnt running towards us.

hahahaha...i think my treble hook cant pierce through also wei. that thing nearly as big as motorbike. one of the largest ive seen so far haha

regret not buying GoPro...if not sure capture on footage ady. and also the snakes around. =D
