No hack-squat machine in the gym, though. Just the basic squat rack, leg press machine, smith, and the leg curl/extension machines.

I used to do hacks on the smith machine, but at the time they didn't agree with my lower back. (some time last year) I'll give them a try next week since this time around I've healed up pretty well and got my form in check.

Started around the 4th quarter of 2009. Trainin was inconsistent in 2010and had a 9 month layoff in 2010 due to injury. Restarted in Jan this year. I'll leave the math up to you. tongue.gif

I have newfound respect for guys with huge wide lats. I dunno if it's just what I'm seeing, but it feels like my lats just refuse to grow wider. Barely visible from the front. rclxub.gif

By back movements, do you mean along the lines of arching the back, squeezing and stretching, and focusing on using the lats? I've been conciously thinking of doing that while performing the exercises (maybe a bit less on the last rep or two, but for the most part yeah)
