hello! new user (both Android & SGS) reporting in. need help here.

my problem is, still on Eclair firmware. can't go to download mode (hold volume down + home button + power button).

tried few steps from what being suggested in xda forum.result = nothing.

tried to use the Odin3(like what in the first page) = nothing.

any suggestion or alternative to flash to the latest firmware? or did i missed anything from the previous pages.please highlighted it. thank you.

Got problem. no computer can detect my SGS using KIES. Is it possible to do it at any Samsung centre, ask them to upgrade my firmware?
