someone from XDA asked the same question, the answer is Yes but they also said u must flash a modem with 850 band support

Not sure if the modems from I9000 would work with yours but i think the roms should at least work the same.

When it first boots without flashing the language pack, there's an app named "网盘“ i think it acts sort of like a market but instead, users share their apps...

after flashing language pack it will be removed...

MIUI chinese is the original MIUI (it's developed first from the Chinese)
MIUI.us is the US version (language changed?)
MIUI Galnet is like a custom MIUI (eg. stock Gingerbread vs custom Gingerbread rom as to MIUI.us vs Galnet)

no its not enuf... the english setting present in the MIUI is not complete thus the need of a language pack

funny i flash galnet v2.2 and now v3.1 my phone can never seem to be fully charged..

every time it hit 100% i plug out my charger immediately it drops to 96%

anyone face the same problem even after discharging my phone completely, recharged to 100%, wipe battery stats, discharge completely again and recharged to 100%

no different

it's there to prevent u overcharging ur phone at 100%. it's not good for Li-ion batt
