QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Jul 3 2011, 12:41 AM) can't stand the default miui launcher and reverted to go launcher. MIUI launcher still lag or not?How does one suppose to find apps by browsing horizontally and is not sorted alphabetically? I feel poor for the majority of iphone & touchwiz users. quite funny, they copy iOS but doesn't copy the smoothness of it. |

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Jul 3 2011, 12:00 PM) Flash to MUIU V3.1 this morning without wipe my data and its working good. My apps are intact and the 720p video is finally working good now. are you sure bro? that's a major breakthrough to MIUI and/or CM7 project!unexplained battery drain is of course the main bug that needs to be squashed but having 720p video fixed is still quite nice! go go go AOSP! |

QUOTE(CrossX @ Jul 3 2011, 07:25 PM) really? haha i used MIUI for quite some time and it's working just fine for me ^^ then, you're one of the lucky ones. hahajust when it gets too bored i threw it aside and came back for the custom lockscreens... i support the MIUI from miuiandroid and miui.us most of the time no mods done to it... works great and I'm not. but no biggie. I still love Samsung stock. but, once in a while I will try AOSP (because of boredom) yep, i agree. MIUI got many theme mods. kinda cool. but, don't know why lags are still present unlike CM7. this just what I needed:- Theme for XXJVQ Odex This post has been edited by lOrDjAbU: Jul 4 2011, 07:05 PM |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Jul 4 2011, 07:10 PM) i can see you're encouraging the dev. i'm also waiting to use his rom. his rom is getting popular. only that XXJVQ have that browser bug, if not he would release it sooner. but, not a problem to me. coz i plan to flash custom jvq on 15th. hahaha once a week flashing. hope by that time, all custom jvq are stable. *cross fingers* Added on July 4, 2011, 7:33 pm QUOTE(CrossX @ Jul 4 2011, 07:18 PM) i like stock too but its just way too boring.... hahaha first i think like you. then, after a month using cm7 and miui, i'm back to stock. lost interest in most of the mods... dunno y i didnt like CM7, mayb its too AOSP hahaha... it's stable, and battery efficient. coz it's tested properly i guess. i'm sure everyone will jump to AOSP once the battery bug is fixed. me included. 1) gingercriskelo. too messy; not all of his mods (in first post) compatible with latest version of his rom (v76). i want stock theme btw.
2) juwe. too blackish. give no justice for Super AMOLED panel which supposed to bring the colour out. generally, suitable for older men. coz black colour go easy on their eyes. 3) EDB. ryyu is known for his mms/sms app mod. but, does he make great custom rom? maybe.. from general feedback: everyone seems to love his rom. maybe because it's simple enough to use. latest xxjvq is stable? idk yet. one of kastam rom that i want to flash. 4) galnet MIUI. kinda nice coz ability to theme almost everything is superb! but, last I tried: lag on launcher. people love MIUI lockscreen. but, you can have it too if you're on stock samsung rom. so, what's the need for MIUI? 5) cm7 is da bomb! only that users need to theme a lot to make it beautiful. coz the rom is really simple and super FAST! 6) insanity. hmm don't know. gmhafiz should know more about this than me. but, from my perspective this rom is for experienced user, 31337 user if u will. chef won't answer you if you ask stupid questions. take note that, I might be wrong on all this remarks. try the rom yourself. |

nice to see so many people who love their Androids here LOL
btw guys, I've flashed Galaxian kernel now. quite smooth even though on rfs. but i still want to get more speed out of my phone. problem is: i can't find chainfire ext4 app installed even though lukiqq said that there's no need to manually install ext4 app. another thing: the default colour setting is kinda oversaturated. anyone can give me more "natural" colour settings? thanks yo |
