QUOTE(881118 @ Jul 11 2011, 10:15 AM) not sure about the klang valley but I could not find any shops in penang carrying extended batteries for sgs. bought from shop.momax.net (online, shipped from hk) instead. I know shop.brando.com.hk sells them too, also online purchase. |

I use foursquare only, so far it's been great.Added on July 11, 2011, 1:41 pm QUOTE(ic3joker @ Jul 11 2011, 01:36 PM) It's useful in 1 sense where I can see what's special (latest promotions etc) and also other visitors' tips when I check-in to a place. QUOTE(emkay_2020 @ Jul 14 2011, 05:24 PM) Jailbreaking an iOS device and rooting an Android device are not exactly the same things, but for layman and non-techie, maybe it's easier to think they are the same. Android without being rooted already can do many of the things that iOS need to be jailbroken for, if I remember correctly. This post has been edited by kmrdeva: Jul 14 2011, 05:40 PM |

QUOTE(ic3joker @ Jul 18 2011, 12:56 PM) Ya, skipping #58 and #59. Gonna go with this upcoming nightly, the changelog alone is pretty 'whoa!'..Kena 'sleep of death' this morning, dunno what happened, had to press power button long long to force reboot the phone. Probably some app issue after my daily titanium backup scheduled at 7am. |

QUOTE(- JaY - @ Jul 18 2011, 03:16 PM) guys, should i switch to MIUI/CM7? My current ROM Simply Honey 3.9 still have occasional lags and battery prob, even on ext4, it still doesn't provide me the smooth operation. battery life is equally important to me, my data and sync is 24/7 ON with 3G, used to have a good battery life with 2.3.3, but the moment i upgrade to 2.3.4, my Android OS % shoot up to 20%.. used to be 7-9% previously. now on average use, could last me only 5-6 hours(moderate usage), 12-14hours(minimal usage, phone on sleep mode 70% of the time). Any suggestions? You want both speed and good battery life? Hmm.. CM7, perhaps, with an extra capacity battery |

My CM7 died last weekend, something I did caused apps to FC non stop. so since the phone was down, I decided to try a few other roms.
Stock JVQ was nice but still laggy even with ext4. SimplyHoney 3.9 was pretty but also laggy and MIUI 5.0 (if I remember correctly) was relatively fast but still had lags here and there. Went back to CM7, too poisoned by its sheer speed. |

QUOTE(ic3joker @ Jul 19 2011, 01:06 PM) haha, bro really hard to go back stock rom. i find no reason to go back. why you keep getting FC? i never face any FC before played around with the new market app, I must have screwed up something in my cm7 rom. easy fix - flash to cm7 froyo initial tar, cwm to latest nightly and gapps then titanium restore apps + data. as good as before ha ha.. |
