All? nope. battery drain affected the official 2.3.3 gingerbread. the latest leaked 2.3.4 doesn't have this problem.
Other issues:
- less than stellar gps, but much better in 2.3.4
- plasticky build
- laggy a bit. but all smartphones are Can be lagfixed though.

I don't think you can easily find retail unit now as it has now been discontinued. You can try AP or second hand unit

Where does it state as korean version? DX version is South East Asia region.

not samsung's fault.

samsung has released the kernel source code as per GPL. touchwiz OTOH is closed source. But it doesn't matter because cm7 & miui will never be able to port anything from touchwiz framework. Another part which is closed source are drivers where samsung are forced to sign NDA by hardware suppliers (said by atinm). cm7 team will have to reverse-engineer these drivers to get every piece of hardware working properly with the OS.

1. donate to cm7 team to keep them motivated or
2. pray for them that they will be able to crack the drivers before going to bed

you are rooted, but if you don't install busybox and superuser app, it'd will be difficult. it's like only one kaki went in.
