Hello guys, I'm actually an A levels student and just about to sit for my AS exam next week.. So let's say i finished my AS and received the results, can I use it to apply for next year's intake? Or do I have to wait for my A levels result? I think i'm more interested on the engineering field.. Any engineering student here could enlighten me about the difference between Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Electronic and Computer Engineering?
Thanks a lot in advance. |

QUOTE(AronC @ Oct 24 2011, 10:34 PM) You can apply using your forecast AS-level result, why not the real AS? Thanks for replying.. I'll apply as soon as possible after my AS.. Btw I really need some feedback about Nottingham's engineering course tho.. Dunno if i should go for Nottingham or Monash lol Oh and i heard the accommodation is very limited? When would be the recommended time for me to find a place to stay? |

QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Oct 28 2011, 09:53 PM) What kind of engineering information you need? actually, i'm interested in E&E.. would be glad to hear engineering students in this program to tell abit of his experience while studying there.. I'll say Nottingham if money is an issue. You can get a degree, followed by a job as long as you do well, in 3 years, as opposed to 4 years in Monash and elsewhere in the world (except UK). Save time, save money. Not applicable to Civil though. |

QUOTE(ken2kow @ Nov 1 2011, 09:35 PM) erm, EE and EC? ic.. btw what do u think of the lecturers? will the course be very hectic? as in, do u have classes everyday for long hours ?As I concern, Electrical and Electronic, Electrical and Communication + Electrical and computer Engineering are sharing exactly same modules for year 1 and 2... if i'm not mistake... For year 3 and year 4, the elective modules are same as well... So, I really dunno whats the difference.... =) |

QUOTE(ken2kow @ Nov 5 2011, 10:13 AM) Some modules is shared by few lecturers, so some of the lecturers might do not know how to teach. So far, I have 1 bad lecturer and he is gone! The rest is very good in teaching. Oh cool.. Hopefully when i enroll next year, there won't be any bad lecturers xDFrankly, this course is quite easy if you do have a strong base on electricity. The time table is not pack, I just have 1 to 3 classes per day... it is quite relaxing... |
