Im a student in IT. I have a diploma in Computer Studies. Most of my subjects are theories and programmings. But I realize I am more interested in hardware then software. Is it possible for me to continue Degree in Engineering? I have credits in physics and chemistry in SPM. Got a b+ in Maths.
If you do well in your diploma (means you have a high CGPA from a known institution), you might get offered a place for engineering (it'll be handled on a case by case basis in the department you are interested, in this case, the EE). But I believe you won't get 2nd year direct entry but instead you'll start from Year 1. In the worst case, you might be asked to do a 2-semester foundation.Added on January 21, 2012, 8:39 pm
