Im a student in IT. I have a diploma in Computer Studies. Most of my subjects are theories and programmings. But I realize I am more interested in hardware then software. Is it possible for me to continue Degree in Engineering? I have credits in physics and chemistry in SPM. Got a b+ in Maths.

If you do well in your diploma (means you have a high CGPA from a known institution), you might get offered a place for engineering (it'll be handled on a case by case basis in the department you are interested, in this case, the EE). But I believe you won't get 2nd year direct entry but instead you'll start from Year 1. In the worst case, you might be asked to do a 2-semester foundation.

I plan to pursue my studies in University of Nottingham and the course I'm interested in is Computer Science with Management. Is anybody studying this course currently? Mind to tell me the details of the course? Is it hard? What do you guys learn?

Happy Dragon Year peopleeeeeee!!

Finally survived first semester, still walking and running like a normal person.

Enjoy all the good food in hometown and remember their taste, you'll definitely miss them once you're back in February. =D

Lol Indians have great significance in unmc too! They are likely to be on the Student Association Board and spam your email with some (external) course and CV writing ads for OVER NINE THOUSANDSSSSS!! But, they could care less of the student welfare and SA well being.

Then again, no one has actually given a shit as long as it doesn't have significant impact on the individuals (typical Malaysians)

Course structure, subjects, fees, all check websites.
If you need more clarification, email them.
If you want to learn more about what's taught in those subjects, try looking them up here.

Should be able to see something from here.

But it's a new system so I am not sure if it's really the final version or not.

It's advisable for you to apply as early as possible, before all other applications flood in and delay yours in the end. September is the main intake and you are seeing numbers close to 1000 (or more than?) who can get a place in the university (not to mention those who didn't make the cut).
There should be an official date, like maybe a month/2 weeks before the term starts, but don't go with that, go with the earliest date you can make it after you get your result. Trust me, you'll thank me.

Hi friends,
1. I visited the Nottingham Univ website and i couldn't find the course Electrical Engineering - Control / Robotics. They don't offer this branch of Electrical Engineering?
If i apply for Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Can i focus on control or other branches in the third year?

2. I couldn't find any restaurant or food court etc in the campus according to the information in the website. I don't mean fast food. Why? I want to stay in the dormitory of univ.

I think the closest you could get is to get specialised in Mechatronics, as offered by the EE department as well. Alternatively, you could work your way as you suggest - take EE Engineering and take more electives on those modules. Please consult the undergraduate admission tutor for the best option for you. Their information could be found on our websites - look out for the department, check out the people section, see who's in charge of undergraduate admission and send an email to him/her about your queries.
Bear in mind your actual application should go through the admission office though.

There is an affordable cafeteria on-campus, along with another cafe in the admin building that charges highly. That should be enough to prevent you from starving I believe.
