I was told that i could save cost on the bathroom windows by using stickers/films instead of using blinds. can anybody tell me where i can find these stickers/films?

is there such stickers/films with extra security feature like difficult to break?

i think, what you meant was a window tint. For security, it can't replace a grill. It just makes the window harder to break from a blunt force. If the robbers use a sharp device to poke a hole, the tint immediately breaks.

If you want privacy, you have to tint it very dark such that people from outside cannot see you especially at night... but that means you also cannot see the people outside..

Hi zeese,

That's what I want, the window tint.

1. To replace the blinds in the bathroom, for privacy.
2. It would be better with added feature like harder to break, for security(I will still add grille)

May I know where I can find this?

The tinted used on building windows and cars are the same thing. So, all you need to do is go to any
car accessory shops that do window tinting... you can buy it and apply it yourself, or ask them to come to your house
and install it for you.

For a harder to break type, tell them you want a security tint.

But when it comes to tinted, if the inside is brighter than outside, people can peep from outside. So,
please double check on that.

For bathroom, better to get those frosted window tint.

If you just use the dark tint, when you switch on the lights inside the bathroom, people from outside will be able to look in. Meaning those on the dark side will be able to see clearly those in the lighted side. Don't think this is what you want for the bathroom... biggrin.gif

How tall is the bathroom window? Normally the bathroom window is at the head level.

common dilemma cky80 rclxub.gif ...many ppl din notice this untill they've installed the tint, this is wat i'm trying to tell my client all the time. just get those normal dark tint. WHY? because you won b around in ur house from 7am-6pm which is day time (and do remember that u choose the reflective tint just to prevent ppl from seeing from the outside during day time. but during the nite time, u won be able to see anything outside coz ur room is brighter.
my opinion: since u already paid n paste it, why not try it for sometime....remove it only if it really annoys u.
