suggest that you have a rough sketch of the cabinet that you are interested in. Else, you will not be comparing "apple to apple" with all the quotes that you will be receiving
There are many different kind of laminates finishes. Price varies from different material

I agree with kelvyn. A sketch elevation or even 3D sketch would be a lot helpful when come to comparing...

the gloss painted have grade??

what wood is recommend by u all sifu? plywood is good? i don't mind to pay a bit more, as long as it is not ikea quality.

Is Ikea's quality really that bad? Have been hearing this but not come across them as that bad...

yeah.. they using lowest quality chipboard.. i think not even chipboard.. aih.. i also dunno what it call..
