because most of the colleges conduct part time classes for P level instead of full time.  some will prefer to take up some practical to knowledge to apply in the P level papers such as P3, P6 and P7.  you can gain membership faster if you can work + pass exam at the same time

Are you sure that you only need 7 papers from CAT to transfer to ACCA? Is this a new implementation following the introduction of FIA?

Doing T8 provides you with a good background for audit F8. F8 have been known as the killer paper in Malaysia. I have friends who have failed F8 more than 3 times and still have not passed the paper yet.

I think this is loads of bull. What is the point of introducing the papers then if people can just take the easy way and enter ACCA that way. It is just not cost effective and they should just make it 7 papers.

I can't seem to find anything on the transition of CAT to ACCA with just 7 papers in the website.

Ethics is a very important part of accounting. I just can't imagine what will happen in your working life if you are already taking corners during your tertiery education.

this is what i gathered
"the main change between FIA and CAT is , formerly you need to complete all 9 papers of CAT to start from part 2 of acca. But now under FIA you need to complete only 7 papers to Start part 2 . and all the 7 papers can be given by compuuter based exam. But previously only 4 papers were available for CB. After completing 7 papers you are getting a diploma cerificate. but formerly this was not available. but to get a CAT certificate you still have to complete all the 9 papers."

I believe t5-t7 are diploma papers? If u passed all diploma papers then yes u can advance to ACCA already, unless u want a CAT cert.

u can enter sunway for acca wif ur diploma...
not necessary must wif cat cert

study regularly n consistently..
practice past yr questions twice or even thrice..
n dun forget to read some of the articles in SA

chang shew leng = teaching is ok ok onli.. speak with english slang... very annoying..

mrs khoo = teaching like grandma liadat... always repeat repeat same same thing... not recommended...

alvin tan = much better choices in pj area.. far more experienced lecturers... philip woo??

you may apply for an accounts/audit assistant post if you have zero working experience depends on what kind of industry you are in. after working for an organisation for around 2 years, you may change job to get better a pay.

or else after finishing your CAT, you can go SG find job. start from around 1.5k then 2 years later can get 2k plus easily
