pray hard that those theory questions that you don't know will not come out in exam. LOL

my lecturer also said that P4 is easy for him but difficult to make the students understand

yeah, i agree. last sitting was predictable. i was unable to complete some questions in Section B    doh.gif

i dun think it would be a combo unless lesser adjustments. i think as an examiner, they would test us on standards, rather than technique of conso.  rclxub.gif

just study our best.  sweat.gif

Collectively P2 is one of the easier papers, it boils down to the amount of time you spend to cover the voluminous syllabus.

ya i got confused about basis risk too... one moment say assume no basis risk, then suddenly say basis risk linear(means must count)...

i wonder can I even get more then 20marks

Basis risk is the risk of the movement of underlying instrument not being in tandem with the derivative. Basis, however, does decline in a linear manner.

no la... im talking bout Annuity Depreciation la

the ( annual equivalent CF - imputed interest ) formula

im saying the annual equivalent CF stays the same every year

while imputed interest is different
*
Asset value/Annuity factor = Annual Depreciation.

Can reconcile using RI. This serves to link NPV & RI.

I love your work too! Good analysis of what we are feeling. P3 on next monday...i am shivering, the more I revised, the more knowledge-gap i discovered   sweat.gif

Added on December 8, 2011, 10:48 amCan I ask a question regarding P3?

BCG Matrix (Market Growth rate and Relative Market Share)
For Market  Growth Rate - above 10% is regarded as high right?
What about Relative Market Share - what percentage is regarded as high or low?

Need to know in order to map them correctly on the matrix.

I should have trashed this out earlier .... a bit too late...tried to check online but no info...jia lat.

Anyone knows the answer?

BCG places heavy emphasis on analysis of comparison between competitors. Growth rate of 10% might be low assuming that during in an economic cycle of full employment rate. Bottom line, compare and compare before getting into any conclusion.

As for the relative market share, anything above 1.0 will be considered as market leader.
