according to MQA's rule, colleges must teach all 9 FIA papers so you need to follow
btw i am 22 and i have not much time to spend anymore i call to acca and they said mature student've been cancel due to FIA by this http://www.accaglobal.com/en/qualifications/glance/fia.html , we just have to finish the 3 module FAB,FMA and FFA i can get exempted for f1-f3 . i dont really wish to spend a year on 9 papers. wasting money so what happened if i just take the 3 exams ? will i gain exemption after i pass it ? or i must take all 9 papers under MQA law else i wont be able to gain exemption or get transfer please help me i need to finish acca asap This post has been edited by HoneyBunnies: Mar 8 2012, 09:15 PM |

QUOTE(nothingz @ Mar 8 2012, 09:31 PM) that's for early bird discount which is a cheaper than normal rate. UK time is behind us, you still have tomorrow morning 8am, i think yes Added on March 8, 2012, 9:32 pm last time 21 years old and above students can directly start from F1 to P level optional papers. now you mean you have to start from FIA 9 papers instead of F1? according to acca website it says as long we finish the diploma module in FIA,3 papers so i can proceed to f4 and get exempted from f1-f3...so basically the diploma module is just another variations of f1-f3 but someone told me according MQA laws malaysian student have force to take the 9 papers.means i gotta pay for the 9 papers and spend a year with it ? CAT cert mean not much to me since my final goal is acca due to financial constain dont really wish to spend on unecesarry paper anymore anyone please help out This post has been edited by HoneyBunnies: Mar 8 2012, 09:36 PM |

QUOTE(nothingz @ Mar 8 2012, 09:37 PM) alternative route will be go get a degree/advanced diploma which can grant you exemption for F1-F9 then straight away go for Professional level 5 papers. that's safer than you study ACCA since it is quite difficult to pass i am ady 22 if i go for diploma and degree how old i am gonna be when i graduate .. |

QUOTE(nothingz @ Mar 8 2012, 09:42 PM) it has no difference if you go for ACCA, can you guarantee that yourself can pass 3 or 4 papers each semester? if you can't finish acca then you will have no cert. if you finish a degree, you are at least a degree holder diploma - 2 years,degree-2 years,=4 years...and calculate the cost i will have to be in debt in such young age at least 30-40 k acca finish the fundamentals will provide a obu i know its not worth the value but i can still work and take part time course with the p papers i dont think my family can support me to study until 26 anymore This post has been edited by HoneyBunnies: Mar 8 2012, 09:46 PM |

QUOTE(nothingz @ Mar 8 2012, 09:52 PM) hmm... then you will have no choice but to pursue FIA then ACCA. you can work full time and study part time just like i did. i finished CAT in 2 years and ACCA in 4 1/2 years. it was a long period but at least i paid most of the fees, you can earn money and study at the same time. you can be faster than me if you are a fast learner what you working before you get acca?just curious what kind of job offer for spm student.. |
