QUOTE(Propernormal @ Dec 15 2011, 06:26 PM) Hi Guys, you'll find parmindar at kasturi, either at kl or pj branch. you may refer to KSA website for more details.Need your advise. I cant study at Sunway even if i want to becoz they rejected me as i came to ACCA via mature entry student route somemore they said i dont have a degree. Where can i find Parminder as i need to attend his P3 class - i have no confidence i will pass this paper which i sat this Dec 11! And, since im going to work and study part time, is it advisable to study for 1 paper or can i take another paper like P2 to study together with P3? Where does Spencer teach for P2? Thank you very much. if i'm taking the paper for the first time, i'll choose it to study a paper..unless it is a repeating paper, then i only take up to maximum 2. |

QUOTE(LYR @ Jan 8 2012, 12:04 PM) hi guys, i graduated from UTAR and working in SG now as auditor. my initial intention was to pursue ACCA in SG but i found out that i have to retake at least F4 and F6 though i havent sent my results for assessment yet. Er, I didnt see the problem. I know UTAR graduates are entitled for full exemption.considering limited papers are to be exempted, i'm opened to ACCA MY whereby i can get 9 papers exempted. the problem is i have to take the paper in JB most likely and i know Sunway has a campus there but its location bothers me as i'm not from Johor. does it necessary for me to go through the hassle or any other constructive point of view? Why not? Take the exam here in malaysia. Attend classes in Sg. i think the above solves your problem =)) |

I pass p2 and p6, fail p3.
I think some ask about p6 stuff. I solely rely on my lecturer's notes. I didnt use Choong Kwai Fatt's textbook. My lecturer told me that there is no suitable textbook for p6. Plus, p6 subject is always subject to changes. I'm afraid my notes is not up-to-date. I still intend to keep it. Btw, i only manage to pass p6 on the second attempt...with 62 marks. How to study p3? Last time, i actually gave up on p3 over a month before exam. And what other optional paper should i take apart from p6? how's p5? is it more or less like p3? |

TQ Added on February 15, 2012, 5:26 pm hi dear, who are your p6 lec ya? i took Low Chin Ann class but failed, his class more on copy answers and focus on calculation. he is good actually, but failed result so that i need help from others... i think want to take 2nd term class from other lec, mayb can absorb another technique. anyone got other P6 lec suggested? My lecturer is Ms Kok from Sunway. You may attend her workshop. She covers majority of the syllabus during those period. I heard Low Chin Ann is good too. Maybe you could ask your lecturer and discuss the problem. Actually I do not have any confidence to pass the paper. I just wish to get 50 marks only. |
