ACCA exam is a killer exam. It requires lots of hard work, sacrifice & commitment. Many people gave up half way through.
You can pass the CPA exam easily with just a total of 1 hour of study for each paper or no need to study at all. I have done it before, all MCQs & you can spot the answer easily from the options A, B, C or D. Lets say for example in the CPA Tax paper, the question can ask
'What's the company tax rate? A. 20% B.30% C.40% D.50%' Obviouly the answer is B.
Another example in CPA Auditing paper, the question can ask 'Which of the following would trigger a bad debt situation from a debtor?
A. Debtors pay within the credit period B. Debtors pay by instalments C. Debtors still owing for more than a year with no guarantee D. Third party pays on behalf of debtor'. The answer is C.
Easy huh ! That's why CPA is always a joke in Aust employment market.
If you want to remain in Aust, take up a master or ICAA. If you want to come back to Msia, then CPA....boleh lah as long as it's under MIA recognition.
R u serious about the sample of the Q? that's way too easy, looks like a pre-u or a degree standard to me.

on another note, CPA is an open-booked examination. i'm uncertain if it is applicable to ALL the subjects, or only selective subjects. you could do some tagging or highlight all over your notes. it doesnt matter.
for ACCA examination, although u know all your principles, u still have to practise questions in order to pass!!~ read me...pass. not score!~~ it all depends on how good ur explanations to your answer within the time constraints.
important thing is study smart, not study hard. (which i still fail to do so

)
