Hi all Sifus,

Came across this sub yesterday in one of the accessories shop in jb.
They are selling at rm550 with box...
Read in the nets that this is an entry level sub. But gives out good sub base. Anyone had any chance of audited this sub before?

Depending on your applications.... But I'll go for ported..... rm550 also not a bad price, considering if smuggle from US(sub + postage) also rm3++-4++.....
Make sure they follow the above box's spec....

The price is right, make sure you get the warranty card from PRO ICE.. This brand is purely for SQ only, best to be sealed than to be ported. Requires a good amp and good tuning for good on the spot punch output.

That's what the installer told me - it has to be sealed rather than ported smile.gif
But what's bugging me is the lightweight of the sub...
as most quality high end sub is normally very heavy

if got budget, try get w0 or w1.

heavy or not doesn't really matter. you are not gonna use it to generate 130db rite?

+1

Now using 12''W1v2 in 1.Ft3 sealed box.

Light or heavy would be wrong justification for a good sub.(used 5 subs before I end up with JL subs which probably no more subs upgrade to the existing setup.)
AND my W1 is the lightest subs compared to previous subs i used and produces the best sub bass ever in my car.

well its part of my course... but.... dont expect my design to be really fast and efficient la...

its a slow poke compared to the real thing...

but heck the last known price for a medium sized SMT machine cost Rm600k while mine are made of recycled junk collected in my lab... biggrin.gif

Good luck mate! Ive always marvelled at ppl who are good in engineering smile.gif no wonder u are well verse in how amp works and other technical stuffs - it's sound very much Greek to me lol!

Btw just curious la how on earth I could feel the sub thumping at the front when it's actually installed at the back of the trunk?
