This box was lying around for quite some time,finally got time to do him up.What can I say,another classic release from SS.

Nah!!!Ashley Wood WWR it's here to stay as Hollywood did option a movie out of it.So there's still quite some lifeline in his work.He has wider appeal compare to Kozik,Michael Lau,Jason Siew,etc...as his works is regularly accessible on comic medium and art books.As for WWR storyline goes,it's quite dull but character concept is funky.

After reading two volumes of Popbot,still couldn't make out what the plotline about.But the artwork is gorgeous.

Also like the new body which has better shoulder articulation.
HS looks like Richard Marcinko who is the first commanding officer of Seal Team Six.

The thing with Playhouse is they based their figure too close to reality.Which can be good and bad at the same time.Whereas SS or Toys City is a little more stylish.Realistically not all operators looks like Hollywood star and carries the latest gear on market.And yet this figure does felt like a rehash and bland to certain degree.

Wanted to check out the new body and more importantly the ar15.Furthermore PH quality is better than Toys City.
Bonus is Richard Marcinko HS.

If you look from this angle,If I'm to pay a RM350 WW2 figure I'll get a realistic working 1/6 scale leather boots that have working shoelace and buckle.DID and SS have been doing this way before HT left the military segment.
CA is asking for RM 508 and yet the boots is your standard molded type. I agree the premium price is much more for the license and HS,but it doesn't make sense for premium asking price and yet still not willing to give a proper boot.Well since it's already premium priced,might as well straight away put it at RM 538 to factor in a working leather boot.
Whatever you or me think is not important,as from day one the license itself already an automatic cash cow for HT.
Yeah boycott them and get the Hasbro version?

I'll take cloth boots or leather boots over a molded one at any given time.Have to hard sell miltary figure a bit,marrr!

I believe they are always improvement on how the accessories and fabric hang on a stock release.If you want perfection then you need to get those korean customized figs selling at 4 figures.Seen a YJ Project's Manji figure belongs to a client of mine in HK.Those are really on a different league from HT or Enterbay.

It all boils down to how anal you want it to be.Ben Zheung did quite a good tutorial on making cloth boots look good.

The part he didn't say is that you need to bend the sole for a considerable time in order for it to curve up.
Whereas Park 17 do it with heat and cool it down on freezer.
The old school way is to insert metal plate so you can bend it better,like how Payhouse made their boots.
The sky is the limit when coming kit-bashing and customizing.It's the time and determination that I'm lacking.

BTW did PO CA,didn't purchase a HT box since DX02.

Dude cut people some slack as long as we know what it means is enough.Not everything is precise to the decimal.

If HT decide to milk Cap Am like Ironman:
There can be multiple releases:
1. He wore comic book costume first.
2. Then he wore flight jacket with "badge" shield.
3. He spend quite some time in his officer costume.
4. Then the feature costume.He rode a WW2 motorcycle ala James Bond vehicle enhancement here and there.
5. Unmasked battle damaged.
6. He also lead Howling Commandos which Bucky is part of.The other prominent member is Dum-Dum.

7. Red Skull.
8. Hydra soldier.Grunt,Flamethrower,Pilot,etc...
End credit is the trailer of The Avengers.
DX version will be great for 2&3.
