how bout the superman behind it ! ? fake also ?? Since HT superman is not out yet shocking.gif
No... to be fake/copy (at least for toys/sculptures)... a product will have to be released first before being copied.

There's history where HT cannot secure the rights, & they had to switch Head Sculpts... Maybe Milla's agents/groupy pull back the rights...

bro, this happened before ..

thats why collectors are being cautious.

take a look at Aliens, one of the space suit guy, they change his outlook.

and best of all the main use of the forums is to share, speculate, prevention is better than cure =)

hot toys is just a company, a deal can go bad.
thumbup.gif ... I can add a few more examples... BD Mk.3, a Kojun face sculpt was promised but not delivered, Super-preds: shorter retail unit than proto, weak Edward scissor-hands HS, Mk.4 (and Mk.6) face were not revealed until a week or so before release, Jack Sparrow's 2nd face sculpt still not revealed yet, apparently Indy's retail face sculpt is still in the works & not revealed yet (which purportedly caused the low po/interest/production). Most of us have to put money in (even fully) up to even 8 months ahead with the faith HT will deliver, the record is good but not full proof, and they do hold back face sculpts (with right/approval pending) even after announcement, while they also hold (some) of our money.

Which is why HT put the clause of "it being prototype subjected to change" after BD Mk.3 (hopefully because of internet campaining) . If (BIG if) HT lost rights to Milla face sculpt, they could always release a long awaited new TTF with Milla's face sculpt, generate more sales, Milla with all the sci-fi/horror movies she's in, is a big money earner.

according to one of hk collector, he went to Toys Hunter to see the prototype himself... and he said the photo i posted here are much more better than the real prototype displayed...

good luck...
Surely someone with a better camera can capture this variant head sculpt... if not just for a proper sculpt progression (or regression) record.

As for the Kojun BD Mark 3 sculpt, it was never promised. The HS was shown in Plastic Enemies preview but never in the official pics. Also, HT released a statement saying the HS wasn't approved by RDJ camp. So don't make it sound like HT screw you guys. It's totally out of HT camp.
Not specifically the Kojun sculpt (in the mag.) was promised.... but a Kojun sculpt was in the specs even 2 days after it was revealed the it was not, HT have taken the goodwill step to fully refund BD MK.3 buyers @ ToyHunter in part due to the online backlash. So in a way HT acknowledge it's faults for screwing its customers. It maybe out of HT's control but they can handle it better.

Colour matching for head and body of retail units is never a problem with HT.... not so with EB..

^ actually colour thinner not advisable.... you take the paint off. If really oxidizing (which I doubt), then use brasso/wd-40.

Recently, we discovered that there are counterfeit products of the Hot Toys Wolverine Collectible Figure from the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie in the market which are mainly originated from Vietnam that we are very concerned about. The genuine and counterfeit products look similar at first glance but actually they look very different in terms of the collectibles’ quality, details, painting technique and packing.

Fans shall pay special attention to it. Just in case we re-produce the collectible products, we will make official announcement to let fans know.
If there are any queries on the suspected counterfeit products, please don’t hesitate to contact the Hot Toys team at cs@hottoys.com.hk

The body should be TTM19 variant, how could they source these bodies? could from an unpopular HT product.... say Dastan's body, but unlikely.

WISHING Good LUCK for those going to STGCC..... do take photos of the display prototype units. Autographs from HT's artists, signed box or figures can increase value too.

Ada Yulli? Kojun? or Howard Chan?...
