for my take:
my AD900 headphones, while lacking bass, have the clarity it needs (your setup per say).

on the other hand, my car, or PC speakers, have the bass, and it definitely results in a more "fun and livelier" listening experience, and most definitely make the more upbeat portion of the song a ton more exciting.

well, your next upgrade is obviously a 3 way, since having that clearer mid is quite important as i have learned from having my recently purchased headphones, and further confirmed after auditing mywifecar's setup
