EA1 mmg no PDAF bro..

Only EA2 offers PDAF..

yup only EA2 got pdaf, but cdaf also usable ma, just slow only....

anyway back to question do u think a 30mm f3.5 e mount or 30mm f2.8 a mount + ea1 adapter
which would be better? leaving price out of the decision/equation??

u have Alpha bodies so i suggest the A mount 30mm f/2.8 coz can be used on both  biggrin.gif
plus the length of SEL30 f2.8 should be like its kit 1855, is nearly about the same with SAL30f2.8 + LA-EA adapter .
plus with the LA-EA u get more variety AF lenses pair with A mounts  icon_rolleyes.gif

anyways, i sent my Nex3 for check up last week as the pancake lens got stuck, kenot MF.
Sony Service Center ask me to keep my Crumpler strap
they donno aa susah maw pasang strap again doh.gif
but good thing is the next day i check repair status can pick up oledy.... super fast service  thumbup.gif

spam 1 pic from 35mm f/1.7 toy lens

hi mastering thumbup.gif thanks...i also decided on the 30 f2.8 cos my alpha can use...and i already have the la-ea hahahah sweat.gif

now time to sell 35 f1.8 for 30 f2.8

anyway ur pancake cannot MF?? can AF or not?? I notice when i select direct manual focus for pancake, seems like have to turn like forever to move the focus...the focus ring like need to go 5-8 rounds before it can focus.....
