hi everyone... just wondering if anyone knows any working display set that is available for people to play around with? i dun mean dummy set but rather an actual working unit.

are such units available from all Maxis outlets? if anyone knows of any such unit being put out for ppl to test, can please share exact location? i have gotten some hands-on with sensation and wanna do the same before i confirm my purchase.

sorry, ya, left out my location... was telling myself to mention in my earlier post and still forgot...

anyway, my location -- kl/ pj. anyway, seems klcc has got units... though its a bit far, but i guessits still the only place for now... probably just take LRT. can i assume this is one of the shops near the LRT entrance at KLCC? but never mind... can just ask the info counter.

anyone tried putting their face into their PC's LCD monitor after the monitor's been running for 1hr?

how abt the same thing on LCD TV?

basically, heat from screen is sth on smart phones... not so obvious on smaller display phones since the display is smaller... and they generate less heat.

but here's sth to think about... glass can dissipate heat quite well... but when we put a SP over it... does is slow down the heat dissipation?

anyway, just curious... when we buy a unit... before we pay for it, can we start it up, run the display test to make sure no dead pixel (or any manufacturing defects) before we pay for it?

if i do decide to buy from shop, it will be with them... seems their service is excellent!

but i'm still holding out... hoping to see SenQ or Digi offer... i give myself till July. then will come and post here and say "i got my phone. please teach me how to root"... hahaha...

prefer to spread my $$$ via 0% installments... that's why trying to hold out and wait to see if SenQ or digi will offer in July. if no news, i will 'terbeli' in july.

if got... i got no excuse to hold on liao... heh heh... just curious. any member going can help ask this with the SEP 1U and let us know? but i m quite sure no ez payment (or 0% instalment plans)

not really true. sometimes, if there is no difference, then i like to spread my payment over time.

that's why for me... i'm only looking at 0% instalment plans and even then, handset price should be the same as any cash buyers.

aiyah... now got excuse to get only in july and not tonight... heh heh... need to apply card first.

guy73's post is even more obvious... in one of the photos, the pink patch is around at the sides. but confirm actual photo not affected, only what is displayed on screen, right?
