anyone root their phones bought from digi using gingerbreak? asking cause i don't know whether it works on digi retail unit or not

what is the latest official firmware version now? mine baseband version is i9100dxkf1 and the build number gingerbread.xwkf1

actually the phone really can last u up to 2-3 days.... but thts if u use super minimal settings la.... dark background, gsm connection, no wifi, 0 brightness....

only use it for calls and sms....

mine amazingly did not reduce 1% at all since 12am - 8am this morning....hehehe.....

ya, that why i am curious with my battery performance...
as what you say... minimum 12hrs for heavy usage...
mine is minimum usage... but cant last 11hrs... got what i mean??? 

Funny la Maxis. Promo till 22july for contract subscriber. But dn't hv stock. Wasted..

hmmm... i tot maxis exclusive was not that long... earlier on, rumour was that they only got exclusive for 1-2 weeks... or maybe i confused it with sensation... aiyoh... getting old liao...

Actually, I too heard that Maxis will be only max 2 weeks. But, after 1 week of selling, phones started to enter market via SEP and all.

I just waiting for DiGi to have it and buy for my gf. If not, she gonna burn my SG2. Everyday as wifi hotspot to buff Tuduo and PPS. Lol...

What makes you think so? I'm also Celcom user so really hoping they will offer it soon.
Not getting my hope high though, still no Sensation from them when Digi is offering it now.

i have no doubt on my internet speed at the moment.

+ 1. Digi is slow. i'm on digi and my wife is on maxis and can see the difference.

I think ultimately it depends on your needs and your cost tolerance

and, back to topic, tried Villain Rom, its kinda nice with its black theme, but i guess, i just prefer using litening rom more. maybe i'm not that tech whiz to completely understand the purpose of VillainRom, but still...

ah ya, i tried it because of what you said in the last few posts back..  i can agree the dial pad is better than litening, but, yeah, other than that... i cant see any difference... i'm still using villain, and still figuring out the differences between villain and litening..

I forgot to mention, I once asked the assistant who sold the phone to me on whether Samsung accepts flashed/rooted phones for servicing/warranty claims.To my surprise, she said yes. Need to reconfirm again.
