i think my concept about the memory is graded C+..
Uncle benny, is the following true
1) internal memory 2gb
2) external sd 11gb
3) if u buy another microsd then u will get another external sd..

btw to be specific put the navisea folder in /sdcard not /sdcard/usbstorage

Added on June 26, 2011, 9:55 am

sd card is not that neccesary because backuping ur apps usally takes ~300mb
*
2) I think external SD 11gd is known as USB storage (stock rom)

Now starting to get a clearer pciture.
So flashing ROM does matter what firmware you are on. They just change to the firmware the ROM comes with. right?

Going to buy a sd card first and buy titanium backup pro.
*
YES - I always say ( already lost count how many times I have say it ) - PLEASE READ the details/specs of the rom you want to flash. The rom cooks always specify what changes their rom will bring to your phone. Their thread is the BEST source as they are the ones who do up the rom and they are the one who write down the features and specs.

THis is addressed to new users : Why is that so many times, planning to flash rom guys always ask such questions here - can this XXXX rom do this or that ?? Can XXX rom have this feature ??? Can XXX rom flash by odin or recovery ?? ... and the list goes on and on . Go to the source - and read the specs ; actually if you want more info you can always also post at XDA or even PM the rom developer
It is not that I am not willing to answer BUT the fact is ALL the answers are at the rom thread and since you are going to download the rom there, please READ the thread details - it is only/always on post#1 in the thread

actually if u are using titanium now, the backup will be automatically placed in a folder in /sdcard/backup ( not sure since my phone now is downloading maps) but it is stated when u want to backup later u get an choice where to placed the backup.. anyhow, external micro sd is not neccesary if only for backuping ur apps.. i have done backup without it

Sorry Benny. It not that i didn't read the details. I just don't understand the happening of it. Maybe i'm thinking too much doh.gif
At first, i thought ROM does not change the version.
Looks like i better go back start reading "what's flashing ROM" again

The internal 16 GB is flash memory. 2 GB is partitioned ( unviewable ) and all your apps is installed there. Out of the balance 14 GB, about 2GB is used by phone suystem and you have about 12 GB left . When you installed apps with supporting data , example games downloads, dictionary data, newsfeed, tweeter feeds data etc - all such data goes into the other 12 GB partition
In this case papago x5, the Navisea folder should be in this 14 GB partition. If you use any file explorer : this is the /mnt/sdcard

If you put in a external micro SD card - you will see this card at /mnt/sdcard/external_sd

Trust this is clear to you

I am on same rom as yours
Awake from sleep is always immediate. This issue -  it is always immediate no matter what rom I have tested ( Villian, Cognition, Litening, AngeloM and original stock ). So I don't think is rom issue - could be some apps interference
Camera - I thought the complain is pinkish spot . I don't have any yellow or pinkish issues with camera.
Everyday open thread sure got sensation v sgs2 crap, everyday read the same question again. No new info
Anyway my question, since u say u have no pink spot issue, may i know what is your camera firmware?
I notice i got this pink spot after i flash to litening 1.5.
My cam fw is SCEE09..latest is SCEF02 rite?
Thanks

Updated to latest fw, still got same issue..meh

Correct ; before I flash any new rom or its updates, I will always read other user comments about the update. It doesn't take much time, but you are better prepare to understand the possible issues. If I am not comfortable with the users comments, I will not flash it.
Rom issues are widely addressed and discussed at the XDA forums , most of the time any commonly asked questions will already have solutions/answers there

Awake from sleep - I did not have issue until I flashed supercurio kernel KKD. I thought it was kernel interface issue, but now I am on XXKF2 awake still delay... I installed a few system related app - Busybox (freezed now), ME, TB, and Adfree. The rest are pretty straight forwards.

Camera - no pinkish issues for me, just yellowish under low light but not serious, and live with it.

Mine is OCED10 which is a UK set
I never bother to update my camera firmware as I have no issues. I am also not sure whether the various roms I have tried has changed it. But one thing is sure, since day one till all the roms I have tested, I do not have pinkish spots. So far the only phone I have pinkish spot camera issues was the htc HD2
