DiGi coverage is good in MOST areas but not all. If you are living or in a not so 'hot' place, chances are reception will be bad. I lived at Ara Jaya and I can tell you the coverage for DiGi is near to 0 on 3G. Frustrating. I moved to Celcom for better coverage though.

Location plays a big part for DiGi though. But, it is cheap

Book now lor, next week is very near only. Save the hassle searching for stock everywhere and there is chances u still cant find it next weeks. I think is a good deal RM2099 + 2 years warranty + casemate with SP (i got the bluetooth last time). Someone was collecting their SGS2 when i was there, apparently there let u choose 2 types of casemate, but trust me u wont like the rubber one coz the Barely There is really nice and 2 type of SP also but i dunno what is the SP brand.

I am not associate with the shop either just that i think they are frenly and i got the phone earlier than their said date

and, back to topic, tried Villain Rom, its kinda nice with its black theme, but i guess, i just prefer using litening rom more. maybe i'm not that tech whiz to completely understand the purpose of VillainRom, but still...

prefer villain 1.3 because search contact on dial pad is better than the European rom. try it then u will know what i am talking about.

sounds like the offer by the sep in 1u is more frenly ... waaa the one in lowyat .. "lansi" a bit ...

i do blame samsung tho, it actually pisses me off .. why the diff in warranty ... be like sis maa ... all 2 years dun matter from whom u buy from as long as they are ori.

Trust me.. Maxis 123 always say no stock.. i called them. Say nationwide no stock. But the next day i went got stock...

Looks like the only way to get SGP products is through online purchase? Can't seem to find any local dealers...

ah ya, i tried it because of what you said in the last few posts back.. i can agree the dial pad is better than litening, but, yeah, other than that... i cant see any difference... i'm still using villain, and still figuring out the differences between villain and litening..

its all about cosmetic. not much in terms of performance tweaking. if you want to apply some cosmetics, then you can always try UOT kitchen.

I forgot to mention, I once asked the assistant who sold the phone to me on whether Samsung accepts flashed/rooted phones for servicing/warranty claims.To my surprise, she said yes. Need to reconfirm again.

YES, bricked my friends, and sent it to Samsung service centre, and my friend never knew his SGS II has been sent there. LOLOLO

there is no clause from samsung indicating that they do not accept modded SGS2 on OS level unlike apple.

Maybe she dont know what is root or flash..normally girl dont do that..they just get phone and use..never bother what is flashing, root and etc..

I asked the SA there yesterday, if you root it, reset back to factory setting before send back for warranty.
if you totally screw up your boot system, just send back and tell them cannot on at all.

The SA said: if you want to be so honor telling samsung service center you do root the phone... that is you and the service center problem liao

Exactly. I was thinking, oh it's possible so I asked the salesgirl, she also said no problem. FYI, I bought mine from SEP 1U.

which one is the better way of rooting: using Chainfire 4.0 or Supercurio 3?

Can i use Kies to transfer files such as .apk or text documents ?
