Guys.. a few issue i would like to ask here.
1. i feels my SGS II a bit choppy, especially while browsing web will full destop view. is this common to others here, or just ne? 2. Can we reduce the size of the touch keyboard? It takes half of the screen while vertical, but thats ok, but it covers almost full screen when i turned it to horizontal to type! I cant even hardly see what im typing 3. battery drains so fast. I can say significantly faster than my iphone 4 (compared while browsing web). And maybe drains faster then my last DHD if i recalled it right. i just browsing for quite sometime, then i will start to worry about the juices left. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 30 2011, 12:49 AM) Why don't you post here which games causing these reboots. I am sure the users here can verify for you whether any conflict. As far as I know, Angry Birds is compatible with the SGS II and will never cause auto reboots thanks man for the great advice What is there to be afraid of ? It is your money , you pay for a good product. They should be afraid of you claiming Motherboard issue are hardware issues - whether you like it or not, sometimes just unlucky get a defective unit. Since still new, should go and claim. I always like to quote this story : my ex boss RM 800,000 Mercedes S Class broke down on week one on the highway - so does this means the Benz is a lousy car ? No, he was just unlucky getting one with a defective engine. In many parts of the manufacturing, QC are still done by human being - slips up do happen |

QUOTE(Lineage @ Jun 30 2011, 07:33 AM) Guys, RM 15 for a mugen? Clearly a fake. It is borrowing the mugen name Want to confirm something.. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1386387&hl= this Universal Car Charger By DC MUGEN can be use to charge SGS II right? since the output is 700mA.. Just worry about its quality since it selling RM15 only.. any other reliable brand I should look for? I just dont want to spoil my SGS II when charging in car.. Original should cost close to at least rm80 to rm100 Any car charger at least 500mA and above. Ideal use 1000mA. I am using the one I last bought for my iPad at 2100mA n versatile can charge all including my android tablets You want peace of mind LOL for mckay brand will cost you at least rm80 Anyway car charging spoiling phone is old school thinking. These days all modern smartphone has buiktin chips to control. But if you want assurances get a better quality. Even those cheap rm10 serves well but will not last long This post has been edited by benny888: Jun 30 2011, 07:49 AM |

Hm...a quick question, not that it really bothers me though... but i've been noticing that Android OS process is taking up quite a substantial amount of percentage in battery consumption, about 4-5mins of CPU usage for every 1 hour of phone idle. This was not observed in my 2.3.4 nor 2.2.1 Galaxy S1.
So if i phone has been idle for 10 hours, it will show as 40+ mins of CPU usage which no doubt plays a part in the battery draining, although it might not be that much. All in all, my battery is still draining at about 1%-1.5% per hour in idle (Wifi on+all the usual google service sync) which is still within acceptable range much like my old SGS1, however with a higher batt capacity, i expected the draining rate to be slightly slower though. edit -On googling, i found that this is also referred to as the "Android OS battery drain" bug which is prevalent only in 2.3.3 and happened even in SGS1 but i skipped the 2.3.3 on my SGS1 so maybe that's why i never experienced it. Any idea? This post has been edited by gzero: Jun 30 2011, 08:11 AM |
