Hello guys, mind teaching how to use GPS without wifi? I off the wireless network then use the satelite and use google maps. yet it cannot locate me.

Erm i tried it and there is a tiktok sound then my screen goes black. I think is because of pressing the power button ? Is it meant to be like that ? and i where does the screenshot save to ? It seem there is nothing happen but a tiktok sound to me xD

this is nice to know, eventually there will be a good rom when you get bored after a few months of stock

GPS on ? Google map is one of the easier to get satellite lock. Try it outdoor sometimes indoor hard get signal.

Guys beside papago and stock google map any other good GPS navigation program that works offline ? I heard aura need to be online.

I try to install MOD Google Maps 5.6.0 ownhere - NAVIGATION all roads on my sgs2 using root explorer, change my permission but still i can't install, anyone of you guys can tell me how to do it, before this no problems when using my previous N1..

One out topic question. May I know by using root explorer, what is the apk in root of the system that let the system to have different locale or system language?

Can SGS2 type in Chinese? Please reply as i planned to buy one.

I'm brought from them, what do u means by the phone condition? The phones sold by them all brand new set, all of us know some of SGS II will have screen yellowish & camera pinky dot problem regardless is AP or original SME set, what i can say is luck. If u worried about warranty issue on these problems which may happened then i think u better buy SME set.

Can, for 1st batch, you need to install apps to get this function.
I now waiting for 2nd batch...

Of course can laaa..just install Google Pinyin from market or else flash to HK ROM no need to install 3rd party sw.

Guys, the yellowish effect does not destroy the enjoyment of using the display ait? only on certain background or colours right? I dont think its quite a defect to be replaced. Its quite normal and acceptable ait?

it's only clear if you go looking for it, bringing the screen brightness down and putting a grey background. It doesn't seem to affect if you are using it normally

However, there are many people who are returning their phones for a replacement, so that's pretty much holding me back from buying one now also

kies air seems to be not working when uploading files. Downloading is fine. Anybody else facing this?

I bought from him. fast service. reliable. A+. I only have one problem. When take out battery, the date and time will reset to Jan 1st 2000, 8AM
