The rear fog lights are meant to turn on when there is a very heavy rain or foggy weather and that's why it needs to be bright so that the cars behind can see you under heavy rain, other than that I see nothing else is wrong with it... Hope my explanation helps you... Some people misuse it by turning it on when the weather is good, that's when it's annoying to the cars behind
Bro, yes I know its supposed to be used during heavy fog or orain but i dont see the need of it and its ugly. I want the whole strip to light up

If we dont turn it on.. it looks kinda weird.. like the sportage where the whole part of light attach to the boot area is not light at all unless you mod it yourself.
I would have love if the whole of the red strip on the boot area is lighted + the rear fog light. Hope it could be modded just like the sportage. It would be awesome!
Just my 2 cents..

Will let you guys know bout the status from NAZA. They told me they will get back to me soon.

That's right too, I think it's better he go to Naza to ask about it... I just looked at the Optima brochure and indeed the rear red lights go across to the boot
Yeah. and furthermore it is not mentioned anywhere that * picture is for illustration purpose only or model shown might be different. So we have a point here to fight for it.

Hi Bro, you have a nice ride ! will get my K5 soon. I'm planning to have some exterior mods but are these mod void KIA warranty ? I'll probably change the rim, rear light and slight mod in head lamp...
How much of the courier cost from Sharkracing.com? any news of KIA original GPS navigator? My SA told me KIA is going to bring in some accessories.
Bro, Sharkracing's price is always inclusive of shipping cost

Bro, contractually any mod will void your warranty. But normally they will close one eye if its a minor mod. Even rims they usually close their eyes, but if u have any prob with absorber or other wheel related prob then they might not give warranty for that portion or even worse the whole car. It all depends. My advise always mod things where you can change back plug & play. Meaning no wire cutting or splicing. So that when u need to claim for warranty u can change back to the original one first then go and do the claims.

WOW!!! Congrats!! I also feels white looks very nice...
I am not sure about the broucher thing.. but the brake lights looks different. The whole red strip of the red light should have lighter up... not a small portion on the boot area only. I am not sure wheather we got the 2011 or 2012 version. The one on your picture is the LED red light something like the DRL in front. We have DRL at the back also.. not sure is it good or not..
Did you put any PPS (Paint Protection System) coating on your car? If got.. where and how much it cost??
Well.. if I do indeed get this car.. hope to spot your car in Penang. I work in sales and I travel to Penang twice a month so basically I need a new and reliable car with long warranty. My old car need to fix often hence I am commited to getting a new ride..
Was thinking of getting the Sportage earlier because of the high seating capability and wide viewing angle afforded by tall vehicle like SUV that leads to some comfortable long distance travel (thats what my friends says after driving his new Tucson). But I think the K5 better fc and more features than sportage makes me lean towards the K5 more.
If some of my observations are wrong.. please enlighten me..
Thanks
Bro, Im in Shah Alam area. Only my car is registered in PG as im a penangite. Bought my car from KIA Glenmarie
