Kevin, if you know me well enuf, ull know that im a person who will kaji something as much possible before putting my money on it. I am targetting the WWR number plate so i have the time to analyse and make an informed decision. Bentley or otherwise.

Why should real buyers suffer and wait if i test drive for 1 hr? Doesnt make much sense.
Yes, agree, bro cybermaster98 is a very detail person which can been seen from his post

Bros here, actually, i havent read the optima specs sheet in detail,
if compare the length between optima and teana, which one is longer....
I just afraid this optima will be a little bit too long for my wife (small size) to drive

maybe u r rite..but this static bending light do not need u to push the signal stick to activate..u just make the turning (not 35degrees, much less than that..maybe the light is 35degrees side beam) and it will activate...kinda alot easier of use(or automated), and in a way, extra safety pre-cautious feature....

FC...RM120 full tank RON 95 ~700km...abt 17sen/km..mix of highway n city drive..abt 50-50 (subjective measurement, by feeling..ahahaha)

as for length of optima, it is shorter than accord...but generally, it is a D segment car, so +-50mm of a camry/accord/teana

during my bookings or dealing, wasnt aware of extra body kits...or any acceossories OEM provided by Naza Kia...but hoping for in-built GPS navi touch screen system like in US full spec units...how much was the bodykit anyway? and i think the car already very low clearance lioaw...add more skirtings, sekali naik bump...screeeecchh....sakit !!!!

Accord has the longest lenght in its class n oso width. Teana's length stay in between camry n accord. If optima's lenght is lesser than camry then it will sure meet one of my requirement in chossing the next car..

Although in d segment cars, the different in lenght is just little, but i really admire optima exterior design by peter...really can't resist his idea... biggrin.gif

err...u mean length is lesser than ACCORD?

and one more thing...the fuel tank measurement or indication on the meter...is quite precise...wat i mean is, if it indicate last bar of fuel, it means very low...and if it is no more bar/blinking....it means going to FINISH....i pumped 66 liters (spec is 70ltr) in the last time straight after it went blinking...dont go pandai pandai drive another 50km thinking "aiyar...still got wan lar...!!!"  hahahaa...just my observation...

ooh, accords is too long to my liking. If lesser than camry, than is ok. I let my wife drive teana n she already kelam kabut. So i m thinking a little shorter car for her... biggrin.gif
The specs in this optima is excellent which is more than my teana 2.5 so imwant her to owns it...

yeah, with eco mode ON...

not entirely sure abt how the eco mode works...but i notice that, it basically reduce the possibility or the frequency of the car switch to lower gear when u step on.. it will still switch to lower gear as per ECO mode OFF if u really press it, and the gradient in which the RPM increase is the SAME too..somehow, i feel it works like a correction factor, wiping out drivers foot overacting...get wat i mean??? sifus, correct me if im wrong

the reverse camera with colour display and proximity indication in optima will help her a lot..
but take note that the rear window of K5 is kinda small due to the steep dropline at the rear

but i will definitely drop teana to her, and drive K5 myself...  thumbup.gif

biggrin.gif hahaha..if i drop her teana, later dunno the car will look like wat liao..... Last time i bought her a suzuki swift already scratch here and there....i think i will better let her drive optima lor... Teana exterior is much older n suitable for older guys like me.....she should take a younger and fashionable car like optima.... biggrin.gif

Hi,

I m looking my first D-segment car which is below 150K. Does anyone here are lucky to have tried the 2.0 camry, accord and the k5. I m looking for a car that is enjoyable to drive and put others issues behind. Hope you can share your experience here.

Thanks.

Just ask urself wat is ur priority in choosing ur car. For family purposes?, sports?, spirited driving? or etc.....u think about it. Then u need to categorize that list of priority into 1st, 2nd choice. All cars on the road got its own unique character which is very subjective for all persons. Currently i own, teana n jetta. Both are performing in different ways. If want to talk about driving feel, there arent much car on the road can compare to VW. VW has an incredibly good driving feel, stable at high speed, excellent pick up, cornering n etc...

K5 here is full of excellent specs and very sporty look. Are these things important to u? If yes, then go for it...
Its value of money.
