QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Apr 12 2012, 09:52 AM) HAHAHAHA! Oh so the trick now is to try and explain what we have been trying to explain to you in the first place. Such a pathetic cover up. But no matter, its obvious to everybody here who screwed up. Btw, its also obvious who has more respect in LYN. It must suck badly being you eh. There are times trying to explain perception with keyboard is rather difficult. He most probably could not understand what perception is all about. There are times I drive without the stereo on so that I can have a better perception of my engine noise and exhaust note. They didn't get louder but I hear them clearer and louder once I turn my stereo down. Same thing after changing from the super noisy Goodyear F1 GSD3, which anybody with any interest in cars and tyre would know they are noisier than hell. It was like turning my stereo down a couple of notches.. engine noise because clearer and the perception of noise became louder. The exhaust burble is perceived as louder but of course the db stayed the same. Just that we have less interfering noise to content with.

QUOTE(joseph.lim @ Apr 12 2012, 10:16 AM) Hi All, Need to check with you guys whether you experience this in your K5:- 1. When your call is stalled or complete standstill and you let go your brake, the car is like jerk forward a bit, the feeling is like in the lift sometimes it reaches the floor and it move a bit up before stopping at the position. Can't really explain the feeling, and i hope you guys understand what I am trying to express. It also happens when I pressing the brake, then lockdown the leg break, when i let go the brake pedal, sometimes this effect may occur. Anyone experience this in your K5 ? I am sending my car for the 1st service tomorrow, will check with the technician. Leg break controls the brakes with cable and your brake pedal control with hydraulic pressure. There will be a difference in the brake force applied between the brake pedal and leg break and in that transition from brake pedal to leg brake cable, you get the 'earth move under your car' feeling. This happens to most large cars as there is more weight settling in during the transition. Should not be anything to be worried about. This post has been edited by sleepwalker: Apr 12 2012, 10:22 AM

QUOTE(joseph.lim @ Apr 12 2012, 10:24 AM) so sleepwalker, you have the same experience as me then, ok, at least i know this is a normal issue instead of some problem. Then will not bring up to the technician tomorrow. Thanks dude You can always bring it to them to tighten the leg-brake cable. My handbrake is so tight that if I were to pull it while driving, it locks the rear wheels immediately and I don't have that issue as the pressure from my handbrake is just as strong as my rear brakes. I don't drive the same car you do. I have felt those sensations in much larger and older vehicles and in some cars with rear drum brakes.
