Just received my 2012 white K5 today. Changed front, back, all 4 rims and steering wheel KIA emblem to the 'K'. Also changed the rear license plate light to white Led. Also ordered new plates with CF sticker. Will be receiving tommorow.

As for the drive it is absolutely wonderful drive so far. Handling wise, so far is great. Definately better than sonata. Need to get more milege to really evaluate.

no one has any comment on k5 ICE? does the infinity sound system is good? need to get the feedback, if the sound system is not good, might need to reserve money to upgrade the sound system.

What headlight issue?

White nice, but I foresee that it would flood the streets like white fortes. I took grey as I like my car with a little elegance but now a bit regretful.

Anyone suffering from squeaky sunroof yet? I've yet to take any actions to solve it.

Btw, I managed to sit inside a 2.4 Camry during toyota road show to compare. 2.4 Camry seats are damn comfortable, K5 cannot beat.

Try the Pit Stop car wash centre in TTDI. They use Maguire products and they do a really good job. Become a member and car wash n vacum only RM8. Membership can be shared by up to 4 cars. Not bad actually.

take the smart key much further away, ard 5m will do.

Alarm will be activated only after 30 seconds...wait a bit longer then it will trigger the alarm

1. Have SA go inside the car
2. I Lock the car with remote from outside. Take the remote away and wait 30s.
3. Asked SA to open the door from inside (of course u dont come back to the car with the smart key)

This shud trigger the horn

either the lock button or unlock button at the remote...it has to be one of them..

try not to forget the isle...u can try taking snapshot of the isle on ur phone

or u can follow the crowd..they must be rushing over to check the new and awesome plus gorgeous K5 parked !!!

The last button with the horn symbol is the panic button.

The car was initially big for me before few hours of driving it then only getting use to it. However i still find it quite big for some of the parking lots.  (maybe due to I drive a Vios befoe/still). Balik kampung, I used to park my vios easily at the porch. with K5, I need to go close to the wall (takut calar bro).

My wife has been driving the K5 to work for the past 4days, So I guess it should be alright. She used to drive Satria Neo (Manual) btw.

for FC, a full tank of RM 120 will go to 700km I did 50-50 hiway & city.

Gonna go for my 1000km service tomorrow - I've checked and the SC told it will cost RM 289. Should I go for Full Syn or Semi or Minerals?

It depends what the original oil used. If the original oil used was mineral then stick to it for the 1st service, then change to semi for 2nd and then move to fully syn for subsequent services. Ultimately ive always used fully synthetic oil and ive enjoyed good fuel consumption and acceleration.

Press set button once, then press 1 or 2 until you hear two beeps. Then release it.

You can't set the it while you're on the move.
